I love the way you make your videos, they are like documentaries with good camera angles and clarity and with a lots of love. Raimo is so full of life and your mom is so cute, I felt like hugging both of them and they look so good with each other (he cool as cucumber and your mom bundle of nerves :-) ). Beautiful traditions, that shows that one need not be a believer to have good food, show love and togetherness. The visit to the graveyard made me emotional for some reason and Annika looks so cute in that sledge. It is nice to see that Vinod got a chance to spend such good time with such warm people. And Annika is always the star of the show with her beautiful maroon red dress. Thank you for sharing this with us.
They opposites balance each other out! Well at least that is the case with mom and Raimo, and also me and vinod 😊 i think these days, at least in Finland, Christmas is much more a cultural celebration than a religious one! Anyways Christmas was originally a pagan festival 🤓
Such a beautiful Christmas family gathering and surely a memorable one. I loved the interiors of the home and the dining table laid out in red and white. The view thru the large glass window seems like a fairy tale to me.
Loved he lovely cozy house , and the Christmas tradition of visiting the cemetery, We do miss our loved ones more on days like this.. In India we visit the cemetery on November 2; which is All Souls day.
Thankyou for sharing you're Christmas day with us. So LOVLEY and very touching when you visited lost ones at the graveyard so special Annika love the wrapping paper 😂 as most little ones do ❤️🤗 soooooo cute vinod I loved how he was happy with he's presents bless him hope you enjoyed you're presents johanna thankyou again for a LOVLEY Christmas video and taking you're time to record it thankyou LOVLEY johanna and family I felt like part of you're family sitting there opening prezzys so welcoming 💕💕💕🤗🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍👍👍🤶🎅🎄💐🎁
We also had a magical snowy christmas in Poland this year and have similar traditions around Christmas. Greetings from Polish/Indian Vloggers in the UK
Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of your Finnish Christmas Celebration. It was just WOW! Loved the bonds and bonhomie, togetherness, sharing and caring and enjoying together, the candle lit Christmas dinner, snow outside, warm people inside, Carols, Santa, reindeers, Christmas tree, candles and lamps, delicious Nordic Finnish Food, Cheerful people, laughter and merry making, lavish dinners, lovely people, porridge and pastries, gifts and wrappers, cozy wooden cottages, absolute fun, you had it all. Loved being a part of it virtually. Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year 2022!!!
@@JohannaNorth Hahahaha, Thank you so much. Really appreciate your personal touch with your viewers despite being in a busy schedule and with your family after a long time.
Annika is getting more n more interesting by the day. She has taken the best of both parents. Fathers Indian looks and mothers coloring !! How comfortable she is in any atmosphere. Started crawling in her Nani’s home too. A perfect insight into ur rituals and customs : remembering ur dead for Christmas !!! How simple and uncomplicated u all r. A joy to watch ur blogs, Joanna !! Keep posting !!!!!
Actually Annika did already start to crawl a little a week or two before we came to Finland, but now the speed just keeps getting higher and higher! 🤩 but it’s so nice to see that she is enjoying life here too, not just in india! Thats all i could ask for 🥰
Truly a beautiful & blessed Christmas family get together! Thank you Vinod & Johanna for spreading the warmth & joy of Finnish Christmas...Raimo & your Mom stole our hearts...such darlings!
Good to see good festive harmony . I come from a Muslim Arab country and married interracially into a British family . I am glad Annika is well pampered
Secret of buying toys and gifts for babies. Pick the toys you want to play with and the babies will love the wrapping and boxes while you get to play with the toys. Babies loves boxes and wrapping!
Haha yes, i’m pretty sure that’s how my mom was while shopping! Annika got this baby keyboard/music toy and my brain explodes with the sounds but grandma and Annika keep playing with it happily together 🤣❤️
Another beautiful video Johanna. Finland has a wonderful Xmas tradition, and it is so lovely to see how your family celebrates it. Visiting the graves of your ancestors was really so very touching. Vinod is thoroughly enjoying the trip. Raimo is a character! 😂Annika on a sleigh, what a deligh, and I cannot believe how tall she is getting, and just as beautiful, OMG. God bless u all and may 2022 bring many wonderful blessings, mainly health, good cheer, happiness, peace, and many trips. Happy New Year. Much love fm 🇵🇹.
Johanna such a beautiful Christmas Vlog. All ur family members in Finland are soo loving and caring, you are lucky to have them. My best wishes and love to all your family members. 😊🙏
I mean, we have also celebrated Christmas amidst the new variant Omicron. But this Christmas celebration looks more warming and fantastic. Raimo has been the star of the event. He welcome everyone wholeheartedly and with joy. It was fabulous to watch those beautiful moments. Yes, you guys are definitely collecting memories. I found Annika being cool with the Finnish side of the family. Take care dear Johanna and wishing you all a prosperous New Year😍🎉🥂🎈👏Ciao🤗
Such a lovely vlog ,and so interesting to see how Christmas is celebrated in Finland ,I was intrigued that the tree is put up on Christmas morning , food looked yummy , and the snow made it so magical ,here in Ireland a white Christmas is very rare . Annika is just delightful ,her Christmas dress was so nice and loved how she interacted with Santa 🎅😊 she is a,social butterfly 😊. Vinod did great work keeping the fire going .Here in Ireland we also visit the graves ,we lay wreaths made Holly that we pick .Happy New year to you all !!!
Hello Johanna,I'm Serena and I always watch your videos...they are so beautiful all of them but this in Finland I prefer......I love your country and traditions...and your family is sweet, warmy and lovely...😘😘😘😘a kiss for all of you
Johanna thanks a lot for your answer...yes I love so much Finland and I love your videos because you show the traditions of live and I image with my though to be with all of you😘😘😘😘❤❤❤❤
Omg, this beautiful smile 😍 You really know how to capture the interest of the viewers. The moment I saw Annika looking so pretty and giving such a beautiful smile I had to watch the video immediately. Sending you and your family lots of love ❤️
Beautiful memories made. Very interesting to watch a typical Finnish Christmas. Similar to our Welsh Christmas in many ways. Slight difference on the food but the concept of family, enjoyment, feasting and the remembrance of loved ones who have passed is the same. A truly beautiful vlog. 💙
Nice to watch a Finnish Christmas celebration 🎅🤶🧑🎄🌲 .Annika sitting in a sleigh was a cute sight. So happy for you Johanna that you could celebrate Christmas in Santa's home land and yours too❤
Beautiful tradition to remember loved ones not with you today.. Amazing spread of food. Best part was all adults also enjoying the santa tradition and Santa playing his part to T!! And best line when you said " I live with you"..Lovely video ( and entire fin series).. ❤
This was so touching it made me teary eyed, Johanna. I’m going to be so sad when you guys leave.I’m really going to miss your family there. Thank you for sharing with us. ❤️🙏
Peaceful and fun gathering with family and food is all about holidays.. isn’t it? Such a beautiful sight and all that casseroles 😋 your mom must have spent hours cooking and all those gifts😍 you chose perfect time to visit your home dear Johanna. We all got to see this too! I was touched by your visit to fallen solders and putting candles 🙏. Xmas tree straight from roots and live candles burning on tree never been done here!! We just see fire here caused by just keeping live tree inside for too long!!😱 Wishing you all very happy new year 🎊 with lots of ❤️🥰
Such a heart warming Christmas Eve Johanna. Annika seems to find joy in everything she experiences in Finland & with your family. I hope Nina has recovered from her stomach bug. So unfortunate. Vinod in all the Finnish winter sweaters is something he must find so foreign to his experience but delightful & unforgettable. You always manage to bring me back to my treasured memories of Christmastime. Be well & much love to you all. ❤️
Morning Johanna Vinod and baby Annika 👧🏻Finland mummy and sister 🎄🤩💕she is enjoying the Finland 🇫🇮 food 🍲 she likes you sister 👱🏻♀️I think she love the cold weather ☃️and beaning outside ☃️☃️☃️
Tq Johanna for sharing your Chrissy vlogs...they were very interesting. Annika is so happy with the gift wraps more than her gifts ☺ . I am sure you are all going to cherish these memorable times for a long time. Its 2 days to New Year's where I am (Malaysia)..Wishing all of you a very wonderful New Year 2022!!🌟🎊🎈🎉🥂
Season Greetings to you and your family. I’ve really enjoyed you sharing your beautiful family gatherings. Thank you for sharing these wonderful memories. Annika is growing up and getting more adorable. These are wonderful memories for everyone!!
Apologies lm late to watch, we have also been spending quality time together as a Family and creating memories as my Dad is running out of time with us. Compliments to your beautiful Mum and Raimo for the exquisite feast they created and bringing the whole family together. Hope Nina is recovered now. Annika is like every other baby in this world on first Christmas, all about the paper and straight into the mouth🥰. "I have many husbands" 😅 Vinod "how did you know l wanted this" Johanna "l live with you" this was too funny!! Thankyou for sharing a traditional Finnish Christmas, these memories can never be taken from you . 🙏
Wow! real candles. I haven't seen those (except in packages in some European grocery stores). Not on a tree for several decades. People don't like the risk. They're so lovely.
Dear Johanna: Thank you so much for sharing your amazing Christmas dinner with us! It was truly a joy to watch. I love all your traditions Raimo was so wonderful as Santa. Annika was so captivated with Santa and all the excitement. I am sure Vinod will never forget his amazing Christmas and holiday with your family. It was so beautiful to see everyone together, singing, laughing and enjoying each other's company. Christmas is definitely a very special time of the year. I want to wish you, Vinod, Annika and both your families a Very Happy and Healthy New Year. Thank you again Johanna for sharing these very special and precious moments with us. Big Hugs💖. Silvie
Thank you for sharing your Christmas with us. Great seeing your family and the traditions. Everything looked so. Beautiful and delicious. Happy New Year.
Lots and lots and never-ending love to the angel. Annika keeps on radiating happiness and love wherever she is. Hugs and kisses for her from elder sis Jini (8yrs) from India. Wish you all and the family a nice year ahead. 🥰🥰
What a beautiful family get together 💖 I am sure the exposure Annika and Vinod getting in a different land ( second home) is a very good experience, such warmth and like the saying goes ‘love is an universal language’ ❤️ thank you for the video clip
Raimo and your mother are extremely hard working and organised, meticulous, I noticed how she keeps everything in order, even the runner on the table every time Annika slips it off. Such people need a good back massage and pat on the back to show our love to them and the years of hard work they have put in for their kids. Nina deserves a Rolex watch from you and Vinod as a parting gift for she has such genuine affection towards you and your baby. Hope she comes to India and has a great time, or even sets up a Finnish school in India. And the Christmas filled days, it was a joy to watch no doubt, but more than I observed the rhythm and mannerism of the Finnish people and the way they express their happiness so implicitly, subtly yet so powerful is the force inside, it is a very different human aspect, maybe because of the cold weather it makes you more resolute and stoic. Johanna yours and your sister, mother smiles are so lovely, and Annika of course, says not much like Vinod, but she has that one cute expression in a day that lights the whole house up.
Johanna, wishing you all Merry Christmas! I feel so connected to you and your family. This was such a warm beautiful feeling of Christmas, that filled up my heart with so much happiness and joy! Every second of this video I was smiling ear to ear and I shared it with my husband and my son. And we experienced a never before Christmas vibes that makes us feel absolutely wonderful. Thank you Johanna! Sending your beautiful family abundant love, and prayers for everyone’s eternal joy peace and happiness ❤️🥰🤗
Enjoyed seeing Finland,Annika,Your Family. We too remember our elders by offering prayer every year.Rameshwaram in south India is for remembering parents. Beautiful Finland well cultured people.Enjoy your life.
Nice vlog. Annika enjoyed immensely especially with the gift wrap ribbons. Raimo totally rocked and your mom fussing over everyone. Beautiful Christmas video Johanna. Thanks for sharing this.. Finland is beautiful. ❤️
A beautiful Christmas vlog with beautiful peoples. Your dedication, enthusiasm, and insight are shown in your work Johanna. Annika and Nina were looking so beautiful on Christmas eve
Annika seems to grow more and more intelligent and responsive..The house with it's beautiful interiors looks very attractive. The human relations among you people are very warm. The celebration was really exceptional..The dishes spread on the table were colourful ...In short, you have made your Xmas celebration very very special to the viewers.. Thank you Vinod and Johanna.
I love how the two families blend so well together ❤ 😍 It's awesome!! And Annika loves being amongst everyone. She doesn't complain much 🤗👍 Wishing you and your extended family a very happy New Year!!
very nice video💖😍 God bless u and your family. Thank you for making us happy and smiling... Keep rising and shining... sending lots of Love and care 💕from Sydney, Australia.
Wow- I learned a lot about the differences between the US ( where I lived for 7 years) and Finnland. I didn’t know that there isn’t not really a religious tradition….thank you for explaining us.
Wow your Christmas celebrations are very beautiful 🤩 homely & warm remembering your deceased is very heart warming. What a good day it is to show how much you love & care.💗💗Annika loves aunt so much.
Such a lovely Vlog, I hope you had a wonderful and memorable Christmas together all of you❤️🎄❄️🎅🏻🤗 I find it fascinating how different Christmas dinners are around the world. I work with a lot of European’s and I’m always interested in how their day pans out and what delicacies they have on Christmas Day. For us, starter can differ, but in our family we usually have for starters a seafood cocktail (prawns, crap etc) with brown bread or toasted bread with Patè. In England for main course we generally have a joint of meat (traditionally roast turkey) but if some people prefer it can be Beef, Ham, Goose etc served with many boiled and roasted vegetables, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings, gravy etc for main course. Followed by Christmas pudding (a steamed rich dried fruit sponge containing alcohol), pavlova (a chilled desert made from egg white topped with cream and berries) or a chocolate Yule log (chocolate Swiss roll) However we usually have the same as you Johanna later on in the day as you which is a cheese board/platter of cheeses 😍❤️ 22:47
I think some people in Finland also make pavlova! And i’ve made the yule log once 😋 i’ve never wanted to travel during Christmas but only ever to spend it in Finland, but at the same time it’d be really interesting to get to experience Christmas feasts in all countries celebrating - who could resist all that food! 😍
@@JohannaNorth I agree, Christmas at home is the best after all spent with loved ones. ❤️🎄But yes, at the same time it would be nice to travel also and see how others celebrate around the world 🌎🎄! I would especially like to take the children one day to Finland! 🇫🇮 In particular Lapland (Lappi)!🎅🏻 👦🏽👧🏽🦌🌲❄️⛄️
Loved your Christmas celebrations especially interiors and red every where. . Your mom cooking skills arebest l feliblike watching documentary. . Vinod gelled up with your family. Annika was so excited with gifts. Love you Johhana
