I think Lee was reasonable, the guy was just mad. In most cases, people instantly get frustrated and fail to ask relevant questions, Lee comes in to help dig out additional information which is useful to many stakeholders.

When Lee drops additional questions, it helps reshape the conversation towards the end-goal. For example, check the guy who said something about "biting" the woman, he looked very shy to speak.
