Mopar or no car and AMC is our brother’s which i love, I’m a new sub and we had a green sst just like the one you showed and we had a Grimlin x drag car, rolling but had a built 401 in it which kicked a lot of ass in the mid 80’s in central Alabama 👍👍👍👍👍✅✅✅✅✅

That was the most AMC’s that I have seen in one area, and there were some pretty nice and interesting cars there. AMC was a good company. Too bad it didn’t survive. Another good video Sean.

Wow... I grew up in body shops, my first AMC was a 70 Javelin that I rebuilt after it was wrecked, got hooked and went on to acquire and do ground up resto's on 6 more Jevelins, AMX's, and a few other AMC muscle cars like him. Unfortunately I was forced to sell all in a divorce, but never lost my passion for AMC's, and how this underdog company blew so many other muscle cars away back in their day. If I was a bit younger I'd take one off his hands, hell, if I lived close by, even at my age he wouldn't be able to get rid of me, I'd probably be there every day helping him restore some just to have them survive.

Never expected this in my home state. I'm blown away. If only I had the cash for the Javelin

i worked in a junkyard in the mid 70`s and remember stripping a rebel machine .. nothing wrong with it but a blown up motor ..

Really enjoyed both of the videos of this mans collection. The amc’s are awesome cars. I’m only 33 but my buddy and I would go to high school in his 68 amx so I have an appreciation for these cars. Would love to have a car from here to fix up but I’m sure I can’t afford them. Awesome video though 👍🏻.

My dad just bought that dented up AMX at the beginning of the video to finish his '69 AMX project. My Mom's got a '74 Javelin at home as well.

i had a 66 2dr light green. Only problem I had was after stopping I would go to take off and the brakes would lock. Had to back up so it would go forward.

Great to see a true AMC guy!! So many cool cars!!. I would be interested in the Spirit race car!! I have one I'm working on right now. It's getting a 360" SBC with a T5 transmission and a Ford 8.8" 373 posi rear, unless I could get a model 20 posi to fit the Spirit.

The AMX is by far my favorite muscle car

There used to be a guy near Penn National Raceway in Pa named Bruce Rambler (no kidding) that had a huge collection of Javelins, and AMXs stored in out buildings, he also had a ton of used and NOS parts as well as a ton of vintage speed equipment. this guy had almost every big bad colored Javelin and AMX that he restored

This is the American motors MAN. I'm sure he knows all about amc. I love the silver spirit. It would make an awesome racecar. And that javelin would be cool as the old Mark Donohue car that they raced road course. Craig Jackson of Barrett-jackson fame has one in that paint scheme The first two in this video. I remember when they came out. There was two different kinds the other on was a bigger car. I don't quite remember if it was a matador or not. I'm sure someone could let everyone know if I'm right or not. But I'm going to goggle it. Now I'm curious.

A couple years ago someone did a video about an old AMC dealership with cars still there and some I think still had plastic on the seats, it was sad seeing them and they had been there since New.

Hes wrong on the way those SC's were built.I had a june69 build one my vin#302665.That 1st one he says he bought new is late build with bigger scoop opening and word "SPECIAL" on last 500.1st 00,88a 2nd batch Spec.paint code.40yr.amc owner.Dad sold Amc/buick,pontiacs new.

68-69 AMX ,Scrambler........those are my favorites I would want. IF I had the money.....but I`m close to his age ......sooo SSI won`t do it.
