Peek Inside This Chateau Full of Antiques
A near by chateau has been sold and the owner has been collecting antiques over the years …
His new place can’t accommodate them all so he decided to call the local action house
We peek inside this beautiful chateau and see how the owner has decorated it
From a Murano chandelier to beautiful trumeau / paintings …
So many beautiful things at this upcoming French auction along with the amazing Line Vautrin Roi Mirror

We have been quiet
But we have been so busy
Lots going on at our passion project
Lots going on at the chateau
But most importantly, we got called by the local auction house as they have an amazing piece !
Something they have never seen before , along with lots of antiques
The sale is on the 11th of June
The passion project renovation / the chateau upkeeping take a much needed break for a few hours and so do we .

I would live in the kitchen, why go any where else? It would be warm with the fire, and has the food and beautiful cooker, with the big table for all your friends and the TV. I bet the sofa has gotten a lot of naps too. The rest is so wonderful as well, beautifully kept, and well loved. The Asian lamps were gorgeous.

The. Rear of the building is beautiful and the inside has lots of lovely antiques. It’s so sad if the auction is essential for financial reasons. It must have taken years to acquire all the beautiful items

Such a beautiful chateau!! The desk was stunning! Every room had beautiful furnishings! I've already have my imaginary check book ready to buy the chateau and everything in it!! Thank you for sharing this. I visited this beautiful chateau 20 years ago, they just started with making the wine. I remember all the beautiful decorations, the lady of the house had a huge teddy bear.collection. The people were really friendly. This filles my heart seeing it again,

Le Couloumey! What a delightful surprise! I stayed here back in the 80s when the chateau was still a semi-ruin. It was more like camping out. We had no running water (the woods was the only...). There was only one electric light-in the kitchen. We had a tiny wood-burning heater in a small room off the kitchen. It was my job to close the shutters in the upstairs windows every night. Imagine a full moon beaming through broken slats on the shutters, cobwebs, real live bats in the corners of the high ceiling. It was a wonderful experience!

I am not always impressed with the antiques I see in some of the brocante vlogs, but the owner has kept this high-quality art and furniture in excellent condition which is even apparent to those of us without a background in antiques. I hope the sale brings deserving auction bids for this owner.

This chateau seems not only beautiful, but also loved and comfortable. I am happy the owner decided to keep several things that were originally for sale. The paintings are lovely, I hope you will be bidding on some. There are so many wonderful things , how can you not bid on something.
