Hi kids, ooooooh I'm so happy, a sale I missed, so, new to me! Love the old pressed paper wall hangings, when you have a lone fancy glass shade, you can sometimes slide them over a chimney on an oil lamp,looks great! My husband got me a tacky old leather case, polished the hardware, & covered it with black shoe polish, Wow,back to it's original glory! I just had so much fun this morning,you two are naturals, just being yourselves! Thanks kids, Best, Carol

It's amazing how many pieces of important information that is left out of adds. Date/day times address. Are the source books like encyclopedias? The art glass shade is very pretty!

Their lack of organization and not having everything they were selling separated is really irritating. It seemed like anything worth buying they weren't selling. I did love those books though. The embossed covers are beautiful.

I have learned a lot from watching the two of you. I check my phone to find if what I want is worth it. I learned how to tell if it’s real silver or not. Your great teachers. What you buy do you sell or keep the items. You two get along great, I’m envious of your relationship. I love your shows I sometimes watch them over and over as for learning purposes. There is an app called yard sale treasure map that shows you all the locations of yard, estates and garage sales don't know if you have it already but thought I let you know, it's pretty awesome.

At the estate sale, the father didn’t seem to want to sell anything and then tried to charge you twice as much for the goods when you went to pay. You could tell he was emotionally attached to things. Maybe if he hadn’t been present they could have sold more things.

QUOIZEL? ---Great catch on that wide-bowl lamp fixture. I have several of those floor lamps, and always keep a spare bowl in reserve. (And I prefer the large bowl, but a few of my lamps will only accept the narrow bowl.)

Good question Karen!!! OK so in the spring, April is the start of our season, and video that come out in April are usually shot the weekend prior. As we go through ther season though, we try to film extra, so by the time summer is over, we usually have 2-3 months worth of extra footage / episodes. So now... November, the episodes you're seeing were filmed in September.

That estate sale is the perfect example of totally unprepared. They should have found a You Tube video about putting together a garage/estate sale. There should be a video, “How not to piss off prospective buyers at an estate sale.” Funny, no prices, except “free” pile! Go figure?

I often wondered the same thing. We see it a lot, 50 year old couches in almost new condition. Maybe because the fabric is so awful to look at and to touch, no one wanted to sit on it! Lol
