Great question. The idea is the two lines are for your main pool and a backup pool in case the miner cannot connect to the primary pool. If you look to the right of each line, you can change the order of which pool is primary/secondary. For the home miner, this is overkill--I just enter Braiins Pool for both...but for the big industrial guys, having a backup is really important to stay profitable in case something goes wrong
Thanks you so much for your reply! I just can't get my miner to connect with the pool. I feel like I've tried everything. It just says "You have no connection to licensing server!" for over 20 mins.. Rebooted many time too to see if it would refresh. I tried emailing Braiins. If you have any suggestions I'd really appreciate it. I have S19a Pro_110T Antminer and maybe it's not a supported model?.. In the log it says "Failed to find suitable miner model for platform"..... Also, do I have to change the HostName and Password for the miner, or is it just precautionary? Thanks! @@HBIM_Channel
Thank you. Does this board work for the S19 Pro yet? The Braiins website indicates its unsupported due to the older ship. This could explain the error message I have received in the dashboard - Unknown variant of stm32mp157c-ii1-am2 platform. I appreciate any thoughts. Thank you.
Hi...if you have the board, you should get access to the Braiins HW support telegram group. They can answer this a lot better than me 🙂 But...if the website is saying it's not supported, an error makes sense. Bitmain is not great about naming their miners...there is a LOT of variation between miners with "S19" in the name...the Braiins team can't support them all 😞
Why the need for the control board as one can change the stock setup with oem controller and connect with brains os+ now remotely ie no need for sd card even, auto tune miner and click on immersion mining to remove spoofer need. So again, why the need for a $100 controller?
Great point! If you've got the right board and miner models, that's a fantastic zero cost option. Just make sure you've got compatible hardware or you could 'brick' your miner :-(.
