That jewelry box is tacky now, but if Karen would have her way with it, it would increase its value 10 fold. Actually, it would be a wonderful winter project for you Karen!! We would (well I would) enjoy watching you transform it back better than it was originally! Rob, you know what to get Karen for Christmas, a beautifully ornate table!

Hi Kids, you just pushed my antique button again, OMG!! That side board, I'd kick Gary a little, then make payments, sooooo nice! It was a joke when my husband would come in with me, I was bringing my bull into a China shop! Sure loved your purchases, you're saving the ghosts of the past with those old photos! Thanks again for livening up my morning, you got my motor running enough to finish framing an 1887 Beecham ad for my bathroom. Can't wait for the next one!!!

High prices...brought to you by dealers like me since 1979.. sometimes you can get great deals at antique shops. Mostly the prices are high because of overhead costs. That's why I switched to shows and internet sales. I can give better deals. My regulars always get a better price, I'd rather have happy regulars than sit on items for a long time. I think you and Karen would be regulars.. I have totes filled with old pictures I know you'd love. So...when are you two moving to California? Great video as always 👍

@@BargainBarons yeah, Gary seems like a great guy. That shop is packed with great stuff. I really want to come visit that area on a buying trip. Canada is a sweet spot for amazing advertising pieces. My son buys for me in Ontario and I pick it up when I go visit.

Pretty slim margins on the things you found but this one was about finding things for yourselves. Too bad you missed out on the theater seating. There must be something better out there waiting for you. 15,000 before the Christmas party is surely doable.

Hehe ya there is not a lot left on the bone so to speak, when purchasing from a shop, but sometimes, especially this year, that's just the way it goes LOL. 😆😆 We don't mind tho, as long as it's only once in awhile, as we of course prefer to hit the garage sales for the great deals on the diamonds in the rough and other buried treasure! 😁😁😁

Well, from what I could see during the walk-around, I didn't see anything with my name on it this time!---I'm not very good with monograms, so can you tell me what the letters are on that locket?---Love looking at all those old photos as much as you do.

Too bad you couldn't get a trailer and come to St. Louis, all that furniture you like goes pretty inexpensive at auctions here.. I bought a curio cabinet like Karen was admiring a few months ago for $50.00.. and I saw a side table like the one you admired sell for $200.00.. the market here is good because there is so much of it. but we are a really old city with lots of old beautiful mansions, unfortunately many of them have been gutted and sitting empty, or restored to modern.

Antique dealers should be saying, “I’ve got three people interested in that piece, I think one is coming back this afternoon to look at it again.” What nice things. Tell Gary, it would be cheaper to adopt a child than what he wants for that child’s picture. Shame him down next time. No lunch at work for at least a week, Gary.
