Day 4, northern Wind River Range backpacking high route: The downed trees and bushwhacking remains extreme as we leave Clear Lake and head down to Clear Creek. After the Clear Creek Natural Bridge, there is good trail for us to hike. We hike to Green River Lakes, and head upstream along the beautiful Green River, as it passes by the iconic Squaretop Mountain. We see some moose and hike to dark, where we make camp in Three Forks Park.

Dropping in the comments to say awesome video Eric! I discovered Eric's videos while researching the Sawtooth Wilderness. I finally made the journey out to Idaho and hiked the famous Sawtooth Loop a couple weeks ago and had the fortune to run into Eric on day 2 at Ardenth Lake. I spent a few hours hanging out with him and his buddy Jake. I must say Eric is a great guy and was willing to offer some of his wisdom and encouragement. Thank you Eric! You made my day. Happy trails man!!

The Winds are one of those few places I know that I'll return to over and over. They are my favorite hiking destination, anywhere!
