The imagery on this video is beyond words. I want you to know that when you post this sort of video, it means a lot to your viewers, or at least to this viewer. You make some great videos - don’t overwhelm us with loud music, let nature speak for itself, find beautiful spots, move at a nice relaxed pace, talk about cultural features in the landscape in a respectful manner, and have some fantastic photography - no problem asking for likes, you deserve them, thank you. 🚙🏞😎

Tristan, I agree with Julia, you are truely unique, your videos realy bring out the natural beauty of the places that you brought us along. Some of scenes in this videos required a lot of walking to take, I for one really grateful for your hardwork. You remind me of Bob Ross, except your "paintings" is at a more mesjestic scale but the way you narrate nature is just as mesmerizing as Bob Ross. 👍👍👍

Some friends and I backpacked in the Wind River Range in '73,'74 and '75, two weeks each time, entering from three different trailheads. One year there was too much snow to go much higher than above Three Forks Meadow so we dayhiked in the Green River lakes basin and side valleys. Slide Lake and Slide Falls was one of the favorite places we explored. Nice to see it again. We climbed Gannet from the West instead of from the Northeast as you did. Beautiful memories.🏞️

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I was born & raised in the California Bay Area, in 95', when I was 25, I left California after dealing with so much crime and useless living, I had a friend offer me to go w/him to work at Jackson Lake Lodge, I was skeptical never being out of California, I even made the replied "What's in Wyoming?, tumbleweeds and nothingness?", when we arrived and I took my first morning breath at 5 am, I was already feeling the Majesty and Marvel of the area, and that was only staying in town (Jackson) at the Virginian Inn, heading to Jackson Lake Lodge was a whole other Undescribable Paradise!, after months gone by waking up and taking a shuttle bus around the figure 8 shaped park, going off popular paths/trails and taking the smaller paths or wildlife made paths, I fell in love with the area. I even got left behind and lost just past the geyser/hot pots, and didn't care, got to experience wildlife such as Grizzly, Bison, Eagles, Porcupine, and Bull Moose, (Luckily no Mountain Lions!, they are the ones to worry about and look for.), when I left Wyoming after almost a year there, flew out from the airport just before town, I LITERALLY could "feel" the wilderness telling me not to leave, but to stay, as if it were where I belonged. Friends, I tell You Truly and deeply that I have been to Montana, Utah, Crater Lake, Key West, The Smokies, the beaches of California, and there Is NOT anywhere that comes close to the Beauty, Wonder, Wild, and Peacefulness of this North Western area of Wyoming. I WISH I could live there. I tried living in Jackson, but it was too expensive, hence why I don't live there now, but I WILL return as I have 3 times since I left the first time in 95', and it's Always been Amazing everytime. 4-5 days isn't even enough to fully take most of it in and experience it. You can feel the Native American Spirit here, and you can feel the ways of the American Cowboy here. It's a place to Respect, Cherish, and fully be at peace at. Thanks again for the video, Nice work! Keep enjoying the area, and keep it clean and Awesome!🤘🏻🤠🤙

You should look into the Wind River High Route. Its the premier hiking route in the Winds and I think it would be right up your alley. One of the things i like best about the Winds, they're pretty resistant to the "done in a day" mentality that pervades a lot of national park visitation. You can day hike in the Winds, but the range really only reveals its secrets to those who devote multiple days and nights to getting deep into the backcountry. Its one of my favorite places in the US

Hello Tristan. I know this is over a year old but I don't always catch these. I just need to say thank you! You allow your viewers to live vicariously through you. I don't think I could ever keep up with you on these trips but just watching you in action makes it an even more enjoyable visit. I just think about all the times you have to stop and go back to set up the camera so we can see you hiking or going over crazy *bridges* like the ones in this film. You're right! This area is indeed the kind of place one would want to stay around. It was breathtaking and yet we probably only got to experience a small percentage of the reality of being there. Oh, and the times you hold your camera face down for us to get an idea of how high you are, or how treacherous the terrain is, well it sometimes makes my heart jump in my throat!!! Thanks again and I will be watching again and again!

My parents honeymooned at Green River Lakes in the 80s. Since then they’ve taken me and my siblings several times and last month I took my daughter for the first time at only 10 months old. To be four hours away would be amazing; we live about 22 hours away, so it’s a bit of a hike. During the 80s when the recommendation to lock up your food had not yet gained popularity, my parents had an overnight guest in their campsite who drank a whole gallon of milk and a 12 pack of 7up. We still pull out a saved 7up can for show-and-tell now and again, complete with claw marks.

You do much more walking & hiking for the sake of filming & describing your adventures. I mean, having to backtrack to obtain your camera. You do hiking that is relatively safe and very scenic. When I was doing much more hiking it would be nice to have about places to go. I was limited by my work even though I had 4 weeks annual vacation. Yet, I liked my occupation. Light hiking I still enjoy. But what I like most now is religious destination travel which has lots of hiking, walking, climbing, and real miracle to meditate on. Happy travels 🥾🧳🖖✌️

Because what keeps it beautiful is people not posting for hundreds of thousands of views on RU-vid about it. Now many people will come, and it will get more trash, more careless people who could potentially cause a forw, and then you’ll have to buy an expensive permit 6 months in advance. Thanks for nothing Tristan, hope the likes and ego boost are worth ruining this place.

Amazing scenery, amazing photography, terrific narration. I've been there when training with Air Force Rescue in 1976.. awesome.

Very nice video. At 6:30 waterfall/slide, 15:30 beautiful mountains, huge 16:00 natural bridge. I have hiked the Wind Rivers too and know how beautiful they are. Glad you fell in love with them. Great filming and editing. Thanks for sharing.

I'm heading there tomorrow. Can't wait to see Slide Lake! Hoping to see and catch a Golden Trout, but not sure if there will be any in that lake. Thanks for filming this!

As a Wyomingite, I love the way you treated the Winds while you were there. The simple majesty of the range bedevils description unless you have stood on the ground and experienced them face to face. I appreciate the level headed, non-dramatic commentary and that you allow the viewer to get a glimpse of a very special place in our state.
