This is a magnificent piece of music brilliantly played by the wonderful NYSB. The inclusion of Praise My Soul puts me in mind of two other great compositions: Kenneth Downie's King of Heaven and Dean Goffin's classic Symphony of Thanksgiving. It is such a blessing that present day composers increasingly arrange some of the best contemporary songs for band. Praise the Name of the Lord our God indeed!
