Imagine thinking that no one remembered or cared about the song “Someday” or Hunchback of Notre Dame anymore, then hearing it as the MAIN THEME of the firework show they have been developing for years. I did not do a very good job hiding how much I cried when I saw this.

This show is impressive. Fun Fact: harmonious was supposed to premiere in 2020, but the pandemic delayed it to October 1, 2021 (Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary). (This show is no longer showing because guests complained the barges blocked the view of showcase lagoon)

I think luminous does a much better job presenting the same message of unity through music. I didn’t get that message from a show that breaks the world in to specific regions and doesn’t intertwine them at all. Add in removing the unnecessary barges that added nothing to the show and were a blight on the parks visuals and were, in Disney speak, “bad show” and removing this was a no brainer.

I absolutely loved the show, especially the soundtrack. Unfortunately, though, I only got to see it in person twice 😕 I wish they'd use the soundtrack and create a different show, one that didn't need the barges on the lagoon during the day. I didn't mind them, but my understanding is that guests complained about them, and that was the main reason for the show being cancelled so fast 🙁

We absolutely loved Harmonious as well and were so sad to see it go. Although people complained about the barges (vocal minority) the reason the show left was the end of the 50th anniversary celebration. Harmonious and Enchantment (the MK fireworks show for the 50th) were only for those 18th months. We’re happy you found our video so you can enjoy the show over and over again!

I think it may have been better but only from front and center. From the sides viewing harmonious was problematic. Also I feel as though harmonious final finale was a bit underpowered. Luminous gets there and it's finale but harmonious leaves me wanting a few more explosions in the air on those last few beats. But I agree the argument can be made, at least from front and center, harmonia was the better show. It's fatal flaw was the Stargate was really only truly visible from one good angle. Also they should have made the burgers just slightly smaller so that they could have been removed when needed. I don't think they anticipated such an outcry about the sight lines on the lagoon being destroyed which I personally disagree with but it obviously was a thing to many others.

I think Harmonious’s fatal flaw was that it looked amazing… but only if you stood in exactly the right place. Epcot needs a show that looks the same from any angle and this didn’t, meaning you weren’t getting the full experience unless you were watching from a specific angle

Exactly this. If you didn’t have the big ring right in the center with the taco barges flanking it on each side, you got less of an experience. This video is from the exact perfect spot, but it was tough to get that spot every time. We’d find ourselves skipping things in the park to sit and wait for a fireworks show, and that’s less than desirable.

It was a great mashup indeed!!!! I was a bit sad we were the only native language that got such a small "stage time" (with only one phrase in Greek), but ultimately I nevermind it cause this show is one of the most beautiful, well orchestrated and moving things I have ever seen ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉!!

Really miss this show. Premiered during my CP and then I worked fireworks crowd control almost every night. It's been over a year but I still have it mostly memorized (even the cues of when we needed to start packing up) Definitely biased but this is the best fireworks show in a while :)

This is legit as good as in person. Every time - the Mulan bit and Lion king make me absolutely sob. Like almost ugly cry XD This show is/was a therapy session for me and I can't even describe why. I hope this recording never goes down in quality as time progresses. THE BEST firework show I have ever - EVER - seen.

Very beautiful and I'm sure I'd love it if I were there....but.....I feel Epcot is to reliant on Disney movies and characters. I guess most people enjoy that but I always loved how Epcot celebrated itself and was more of world celebration of culture. The original illuminations captured something very different!! Disney is trying but they really could use some of their 70's, 80s, and 90s imagineers.Or maybe I'm just old and want things to stay the same :)

Nostalgia is a huge part of the EPCOT lore. However, a lot of this show is based around the celebration of world culture as well, just featuring IP’s this time around. It’s a beautiful show with an incredible soundtrack and stunning visuals. Love where the “new” EPCOT is headed, rather than stuck in the 80s/90s representation of the “future” and “imagination.”

In my opinion nothing will replace illuminations. Epcot is supposed to be different from the more corporate parks like Magic Kingdom. I see this show as more corporate crap, especially with those ugly screens ruining the views of showcase lagoon.

This show was absolutely captivating.. I remember the first time I saw it, we were in right next to one of the firework cannons. The end where a firework shoots out from all over world showcase.. that feeling of being connected, one as a whole in harmony as everyone cheers for their country or favorite country.. or even to be a part of a whole, with this big boom you feel in your soul.. harmonious will always be my favorite, and most memorable Epcot show

Great recording and audio this is my go to! I just wanted to note how the show needs to be more relevant to the park and have more of a story to it like ROE did. I also think the finale was shortened due to the budget cuts we are seeing right now. I don’t like where the company is going especially with the full Disney Genie thing

Thanks for posting. Have to say I find it's underwhelming in its impact reduction in fireworks for lazers with the OTT power vocals has taken away the emotional impact - It's not as powerful as the classic Gavin Greenaway Score.

If you compare this final show to the versions they were testing in back in June ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nFJYK8clyww.html ), it’s obvious they have cut a lot of the pyro from the show, especially during the finale. :(

I never saw this show in person but I remember working in these barges during Covid and welding all the stainless piping for the fountains and pumps. I was kind of surprised to hear they chopped all these up already and made an entirely new show already.

Simplemente espectacular cada unos de los parques Disney, junto a mi familia vibramos y nos emocionamos al presenciar dicho espectáculo en vivo al igual que Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom y Disney’s Hollywood Studios , el estar ahí es indescriptible a nivel de sensaciones. Poder ver todo mediante la pantalla, permite observar aquellos detalles que se escapan al estar en vivo, ya que se puede disfrutar con mayor tranquilidad. Podrías compartir el espectáculo final de Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom y Disney’s Hollywood Studios, que son tan espectaculares como el de Epcot,

It's too bad some of the show doesn't work properly anymore. I'm able to see this show a lot and the lasers aren't there in the same capacity, some of the fireworks don't always go off, and the last time I was there this past week one of the arms wasn't lit up at all. For the price you pay to get into Disney I expect better. Thank you for filming it the way you did though. So many people film this with their phone and are constantly zooming in and out trying to catch every little detail which is so annoying. Great job on filming this show.

@@ACoupleOfParkHoppers For people seeing it for the first time (maybe the only time) they most likely don't even recognize the errors in the show. Unless you're someone like me who has seen in person multiple times you'd probably never see when things aren't working properly unless its blatantly obvious.

@@ACoupleOfParkHoppers I do have to second this. I just saw it Friday night and again Saturday night. Friday night it came across as a technical rehearsal that had a train wreck. they were all over the place. many things did not work including all four arms around the Stargate barge and not a single laser. then Saturday night. everything worked. The lasers were on point... string ray, Lazer waves, Mufasa, beams shooting everywhere, the Rose... you name it it was there in full glory. If there was a firework that didn't go off, I didn't notice. So they do fix things. And sometimes in the course of just one evening.
