My childhood dream to go to WDW and Epcot...worked hard to earn money, finally managed to save enough to bring the entire family from Indonesia to Orlando, 23 hours flight, 27 hours door to door...and it was all worth it, every minute of it and every dime!!! I saved my pennies for pressed souvenir!
Thanks for uploading this. I was there, but I was far back enough that I didn't know there was water and lights going on. I saw the fireworks. What an amazing show it was!
When I was watching this show there was a strong wind heading towards the audience and all the hot ashes of the fireworks where's blown in our face. I even have a piece of firework that landed right next to us
Here's the meaning of the fireworks in Act I: In 1:33, The comet resembles the first comet of space. In 1:36, The 2 fireworks resemble the first 2 asteroids being formed In 1:40, The 4 fireworks resemble the gas giants being formed In 1:45, Mines shoot out from the barge, this resemble the individual formation of the other comets. In 1:47, The Inferno Barge blows off, It resembles the Sun. In 1:53, 2 fireworks exploded. It resembles Theia (The cause of the Earth's Moon) and Mercury In 1:56, More mines sputter, it resembles more asteroids being formed and some hitting the forming planets. In 1:57, 2 more fireworks lit up the lagoon. It resembles Venus and Mars In 2:04, More asteroids are born and striking other planets (Represented by mines) In 2:14, The satellites of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune form (Represented by crossettes.) In 2:26, Even more satellites form on 5 planets (Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune) In 2:42 Supernovas form nebulas. (Represented by the dahlias) In 3:17, The Moon, Earth, Pluto and Ceres were the last to form (Represented by silver peonies) *Might not be accurate, but this is the possible timeline of the solar system's formation as well as the earth.
I was watching this and thought it sounded strangely familiar. Then I looked at my video from October 2012. It's the same exact show music and everything. I kind of just lost a little respect for Disney. They just recycle their firework shows. I thought they did new ones each year.
Disney doesn't "recycle their firework shows." Illuminations is one of the BEST shows at Disney. Everyone loves it so much, they have kept it. I'll be sorry to see it go one day. It's my favorite and I'm pretty sure you will find others who totally agree with me.
