I have fought with this contraption for almost two years. I have never been able to follow the written instructions. Thank you so much for explaining this so well.

Boiler installed last week. Engineer showed me how to manage the control. He went home and my understanding went with him. I came across your video Now trying to make out how to reset to my requirement. Not easy when one is technophobe and too old. So I will be re rerun the tutorial until I get hang of it. Excellent guidelines. The demonstration was just the right speed. Some RU-vid videos explaining how to do something run far too quickly which means you have to keep dragging the video back and it’s difficult to find the right place.

Today I had a combi boiler fitted with new radiators and a eph cp4 controller, I watched your video and am now the master of my central heating, thank you for the informative video.

Had this boiler a couple of years and never needed to use it properly. Now have a young baby and need to make sure it doesn't drop below a certain temp now the colder weather is coming. Couldn't figure it out for love nor money. So confusing....this had really broken it down and explained it so simply...thank you!

Had one of these installed today, wasn't shown how it works etc.. just left with the instruction booklet, which doesn't help having adhd, but your video has been really helpful and now I know how to turn my heating on manually, thank you 🙂

Just got one of these for the mother in law and the guy who installed it was great until he demonstrated the programming, it was lost in translation as they say. Your video was bang on and I’ve just programmed it for her, great simple video sir. 🤘🏼

Had this timer for about 6 months, your video confirms I set it up correctly. What I don't get is like this morning at 5am, room temp was 19.6°, thermostat was set at 22° but the heating didn't come on. At 9am, as the sun was warming the house and it did feel warmer, room temp was, apparently, 19.4°. The thermostat was set for 20° at this point and the heating came on. Since coming on the room temp went up to 24.5° before turning off. It never seems to take any notice of the actual set temps. Driving me bonkers. Great vid by the way.

I got my gas installed yesterday and i couldn't understand why it shuts off after a while. I set it on my temperature but after a while it reset and went down to 10°C. Since I'm stupid, i didn't realized that i have to switch to manual. Thank you good sir.

Got a new boiler installed in the spring and hadnt needed it till now and had no idea how to programme it! So have followed the video, replayed bits, and managed to set it similar to how I had my old boiler. Love the clear, calm way you explained it along with good video. Thanks

Thank you so much, all of a sudden my control panel stopped connecting to the thermostat. I took some time with the connect button on the control panel and the reset and connect buttons you pointed out on the thermostat and now I have heat. You absolute star! Thank you!

This is a life saver I have just got one of these thermostats and I had no idea how to work this. Iv found it so easy after this. Only thing I seem to find is on manual my boiler never fires back up once it drops below the set temp 🤔

I followed your Brilliant instructions. Thank you. Think mine has a problem because I set it to MAN and 26 degrees when room temp was 18.5 and although the heat symbol was on, the heat went off! Now I know there is a prob with the device and not me! Thank you for explaining it so well. You should write their instruction manual!!

Excellent video,it was invaluable to me after my Combi boiler was installed,far better than the instructions supplied with it.I recommended it to my installer for his customers.

I wonder if the interface of this device was ever tested with real world users. It doesn't seem to me that they participated in the design phase at all. One of the most confusing interfaces I've seen! Thanks for this video. It's just funny that I had to watch it in order to do something as simple as control heating... :)

Great video. I was already pretty clued up on how to use this after a bit of fiddling and was really coming on here in the hopes of finding a way of having more than 6 program slots. We're finding the 6 slots a bit restrictive through the night with a young toddler, would be nice to give the heating 5 half hour blasts but I'd need 10 slots for that.

We man locked ours and played about with it all day to no avail lol, thanks for this video mate

Just tried to look through the online manual and it’s awful. I never knew the P2 P4 etc is the time it switches off. This has helped explain a lot what the manual doesn’t

Hi Allen, I just had a Worcester bosh 8000 fitted, and the water pressure dropped, I topped up the water pressure and I would like you to show me how to reset the boiler afterwards. Your videos are brilliant and very knowledgable.

This has been so helpful, if I set the heating to come on when it gets to 13* for example, how will it know what temp to turn off at ? Hope this makes sense
