The Hoodie of Happiness. Just love that! It reminded me of my teenage Sunday school teacher thirty years ago, who was a recent return missionary and he made the Book of Mormon come alive for us. He talked about Lehi and his Family leaving Jerusalem with just a skippy peanut butter sandwich. And Laman and Lemuel’s biker gang. And Abinidude!

As I was listening to brother Richardson speak, the thought came to my mind that we are armoring ourselves in the temple when we put on our Temple clothing. We protect our head, our heart, our bowels, and our feet. Also, these things can represent Jesus Christ: he stands for truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, how lovely are the feet upon the mountain, and he is the word of god.

Paul uses the Greek word enduo to describe the act of putting on God's armor. Enduo means "to clothe oneself" and is the root word of "endowment"

Stand...Malachi 3:2 Who may abide the day of his coming? Who shall stand when he appeareth? The Lord is like a refiner's fire. President Nelson has said, " I plead with you to increase your capacity to receive personal revelation. " President Nelson wants us to become comfortable feeling the fire of the Holy Ghost. So we can stand 🤍

This made me think on so many higher levels than I would have on my own. I listened to it all twice, so much to consider. Thank you for doing God’s work and teaching how to grasp onto Paul’s words, the plan and to be better at considering different ways of thinking. Absolutely loved the “frame” concept at the end. Really got me thinking about what’s in my frame and do I treasure it like I do my own family picture?

About the 20 minute mark it makes me think about a couple things ❤ First that story about Joseph smith where someone thought or heard something false about him and him taking ownership and accountability with thinking about what he did to contribute to that assumption and wrong information And also what I’m learning in parenting :) I listen a lot to robin Mcmannes(I’m spelling her name soooo wrong 😅) podcast and she talks about getting curious and asking “how come” and stopping and breathing and saying “you must be really upset to say that to me” and after everyone’s calm getting curious and talking about it too
