I guess I was your first subscriber in Kenya and this episode has to be the BEST of the lot. I had to grab my laptop and comment after watching it on telley. Absolutely top-draw.
The Kenyan coast is undefeated and I still believe it is underdeveloped. Places like South of France and the coast of Spain have nothing comparable to East Africa coast but gets tourists in tens of millions while in Kenya we can only manage 2 million. Another great video buddy, cheers!
I agree about the potential. However, 1) France and Spain have Long-established luxury hotels and great beaches. 2) and it is not just about the hotels and beaches. There is a mindset to go along with it and the culture. And I Think you know that (Young) Kenyans are now adressing some important issues. Especialy, the endemic corruption which we also see and feel as tourists and which is not an issue in Spain and France. Sort out the culture of corription, every type of it and it Will change everything.
@@abocas Those beaches have nothing comparable to East African coastal beaches. The difference is the supporting infrastructure around the mediterranean coastline. East African coast is all white sandy beaches, blue clear water not rocky like in most other areas. East Africa coast is undefeated and warm all year round.
Hey guys, another great video 😊 We are watching your videos and every time it reminds us of the great adventure we had back in 2021. We actually visited the Cave restaurant but back then it wasn’t a Turkish one. It looks even better now 🙃 Cheers 😊
when you hear my wife shouting, hey come there is a new clip of Tracey and her partner, that tells you that we as a family we re addicted to this formidable couple who offers a different perspective in how we should be having glitter and glamour through our enjoyment. one thing I would like to see is bit more exposure of west Africa, Togo, Burkina Faso, guinea, Ghana etc... keep brightening our tv screens.. thanks
Oooh yes the Istanbul cave restaurant and the food esp the lamb chops, turkish rice, tea and baklava .. slaps sooo good ❤❤ definitely worth the experience 🎉 glad you got to experience it too
Even without tasting my tastebuds nearly left me for your venue. I love Turkish cuisine. Quite close to Iranian cuisine most of the time from my own experience.
Hey guys,is Mamba village in Nyali still there? It used to be a restaurant kinda set in the quarry with a crocodile pool, and they served crocodile steak and stuff. And next to it was a night club also set out into the quarry
I’m from Zimbabwe (live in England) horned melon is magaka. You don’t want to know how they grow 😂😂😂 Dave how would I manage a safari/beach vacation with a 6,4&1 year old grandkids and their parents?😅 xx
So, I waited till I was out of Pride in Flamingo….. so, this place is for real a shit hole. 1st, these folks wanna give you 1 towel each, no wash cloths. The culinary experience gets boring really quick with repeated meals and dare you show up early for breakfast and you get all the leftovers from the previous night. These folks really told my son he couldn’t have a coke with breakfast or it would be an extra charge as they only serve soda starting 11a.m… getting water is fishy as they hide behind the guise of “plastic ban” and they only give you a couple glass bottle waters and rest has to be served in regular glass. I have been to resorts in Mexico, St Maarten, Jamaica and Anguilla, this is the WORST experience BY FAR. I mean, most resorts are stingy with liquor and maybe beer but soda and fuccin water is all new for me. This is an experience for someone that’s never been to a resort and they don’t know what’s up but they assume that’s EVERYONE, nah. Good thing about the resort? Some employees are awesome and just have a bad deal selling a mediocre resort which I feel sorry for them. The satellite TV sucks ass too and weird they don’t even have local channels, I wasn’t there to watch msnbc or bbc, I wanna know what’s going on in KENYA. 🤦🏾. So anyway, Dave & Tracy, be careful who you endorce coz I feel like when these folks know you’re showing up they are putting on a show for you guys and not for the next person. OH, my son wasn’t feeling the whole going to dinner with loud obnoxious music so I went and made a plate and on way back got stopped by a worker saying I “wasn’t allowed” to take meals to the room and need to pay a fee for a room tray and I asked this dude to hang around and wait for his plate coz I wasn’t paying shit extra. This was just a bad place. Lesson learned, stick to Diani. Really awesome few employees though that took great care of us and I tipped the shit out of them. So, whomever wanted a good time, this one is a hard pass by 35,000 miles. This place a whole mirage and fake. Def don’t recommend.
I do understand your points bit just to be clear, we don't endorse anything and did not get paid for this either. We simply documented our experience which was overall pretty good especially considering the price points which is much lower than other similar resort like Whitesands for example. Sorry tou have a bad experience...
