Thanks for tuning in to the Arizona RIDE Series, where we explore some of the best spots Arizona has to offer, all on two wheels.
In this episode, we start in Chandler Arizona, and ride to Williams, taking some of Arizona's best roads along the way, with stops through Globe, Salt River Canyon, Payson, Strawberry, and tons more. One last piece of trivia. This from my professional Harley Davidson Motorcycle test rider days. We were taught that just as there are weeps, seeps and leaks, (Weeps are oil showing up on gasket lines. Seeps are enough oil to be shiny and traveling. Leaks are enough oil to need be wiped off periodically or are leaving spots under the bike or worse) there are switchbacks, curves and sweepers. Switchbacks are 1st and 2nd gear negotiable. Curves are 3rd and 4th gear negotiable. And sweepers are 5th and 6th gear negotiable. More useless trivia, but fun to know. Ride safe boys. Thx again for all you do to include us.

It is a pleasure seeing you rascals run and record the roads I ride in my home state of Arizona. Zane Grey, the old West writer used to hang out and write in Payson. Hon-Dah casino in Pinetop sponsors the White Mountain Rally in June and cruising the 260 East on poker runs through places like Greer and Hannigan's meadow on the old devil's highway with pines, lakes, vistas, and elk is jaw dropping. Your videos and are amazing and very entertaining. It's nice when you take your ladies because I love to ride with my woman and make bonding memories! 2 Lane life rocks!!

As always, really like your videos. And an FYI, the road to Tortilla Flat?? From the first 25mph sign you see on way to Tortilla Flat is just over 9 miles. In that 9 miles are 135 curves with no straight runs. It's all 2nd gear with some 1st and 3rd. You're always going into or coming out of a curve with a drop-off on one side. Anyway, great video. Thx.

Neat seeing Globe again. My grandparents lived there when I was a kid. My grandfather had a Honda Trail 90, he would throw me the keys and say go explore, and I did just that. Thanks for bringing me back that memory guys 👍🏻

It was a neat little town for sure. Like we say, "you won't know 'til ya go!" It's always awesome seeing those little towns still alive and well, and learning about all of the unique history behind them Nothing like ripping a trail 90 through the streets and the trails, that's awesome 🤘. Awesome you guys rode right through my stomping grounds. We ride those roads on a regular basis. We call it the upper loop. Maybe 1 day we will catch up. Much better places to eat than Taco Bell lol.

You guys are riding in my backyard. I thought you would turn down 260 to Camp Verde and then to Sedona and up 89a to Flag then to Williams. Williams is always our stop when coming back from the river. Arizona is a great place to ride Stay at elevation in the summer. Always have water and gum. Great video.

Love your guy's content, and watching your adventures. I really digged this video because I'm from Payson AZ and have been here all my life and have rode my Harley on several of the routes you guys took many times over the years but it's still cool to see in a different perspective. Arizona is such a beautiful state for many reasons and glad you guys and many others could check it out and appreciate it all. Hopefully one day our paths will meet and I could catch up with you guys in the future. Who knows maybe I'll run into you guys in Williams l, I love it out there as well. Mt Lemmon is great, however Mt Graham is a much twistier road with almost no traffic. Traffic is the biggest downfall of Mt Lemmon.

Folks lived in lake Havasu city for a number of years, use to ride my dad's old wing down the river to Quartzsite and back, a nice ride as I remember its been more than a few years. Live in redding California now.

Great video again guys......perhaps you can answer a question for me, bearing in mind I know nothing about Harley's but will hopefully getting one shortly.....which is the better bike a Soft tail or Dyna .?

Thanks for watching, National Interest! Of course, a lot of that comes down to preference, but there's a few factors. The softails have the newer M8 motor, which tends to be more efficient and gives off much less heat and vibration. Also, being that it has a mono-shock in the rear, the handling will likely be improved, especially while stock. Dynas and twin cam motors are still great machines, so it all comes down to your price range and preference. Josh loves his softail, and it does great for long rides, especially with his seat and bar setup. He's ridden 15,000 miles on it in the past 4 months and hasn't had a single issue. He has a 2019 Softail Low Rider with a stage 4 114" Motor Build. You're best bet is to ride both, and find something clean and relatively stock if you're buying something used. Hope that helps

The Salt River Canyon road might be a good place to avoid until ADOT gets all the potholes fixed. Lots of rain, snow and freezing temperatures have created very hazardous conditions for a two wheeled ride.
