On the topic of playlists, have you ever considered casting the super old epic games like Boxer, Nal_Ra, Xellos, JulyZerg, Reach etc... I feel like some of the most influential games were played in that era like when Bisu revolutionized PvZ or JulyZerg creating mordern day muta micro!

Crazy. Zerg feels impossible to beat in the late game, but the fully optimized protoss end game army with many reavers and archons and storm beats everything zerg has.

I feel like Bisu threw down the Fleet Beacon to get +2 air weapons because he forgot that he didn't have his Corsairs any more. I feel like he would have warped in an additional Stargate or 2 if he was planning a Carrier transition. Disruption Web would have been great against all those hydras and Lurkers, though; if he still had his Corsairs.

@falconpaladin Why there are not more attacks combining Protos Carriers and Carrier illusions who would take the blunt of the damage, created by high templar who would stay in the rear, behind battery shield for when carriers have exhausted their plasma shield, then they would retreat quickly to the batteries bank to recharge and mount another assault with perhaps even more real carriers. Even a small ball of 4 carriers with 8 illusion carriers would be a formidable force to deal with, especially if there is an arbiter behind to shadow the carriers ?

Protoss being cost efficient is mythical. If that was true, they would win easily because they spend the majority of the game 20+ up supply to the Zerg, and they struggle to take down even a single base with basic defense. Even when he was maxed out, Bisu had a hard time really hurting larva, despite being up in tech and supply. Zerglings beat zealots for cost & supply, Hydras LOL @ Dragoons for cost and supply, and the lurker is like Terran level efficient, both in cost and supply. The only units balancing that scale are HT and reavers, and that's without counting in the defiler, which makes your high supply dragoons & archons basically dead weight, so your 130 army supply might be closer to 90. The Protoss heavily relies on being able to take a perfect fight in which its splash units connect, if the Zerg allows it.

I wonder if Disruption Web could break the deadlock that the Zergs static defense creates. Protoss already builds Corsairs which just get energy for a while and then they swoop in to prevent Sunkens from attacking. Am I onto something or is my Wooden League "skills" showing?

I wonder why professional protoss players like Bisu never use arbiter to recall troops into zerg's base! To me, that'd be a great tactics to avoid static defense of zerg with sunkens and lurkers.

Great watch! I always root for Zerg because they consistently feel like the underdog faction. Not that they're underpowered or can't win, but it seems as if they need to do more to win, if that makes sense? Having to juggle with irradiate and siege tanks, or storms and reavers must be a challenge! And they always seem to be the one short on resources and in need of more bases?

Who said SCBW has a perfect balance? Protoss almost always wins especially against zerg. The reason why this game was long is because protoss didn't really attack for a while, but once it went, it crushed zerg bases and defense in a row.

I dont like tvz and pvz as much other matches, including mirrors. Because in majority of cases i will be rooting for a zerg to loose. I developed somewhat of a disdain for them from watching your videos. Impression that i got is that they are a weak race that mostly stays competative by using overwhelming numbers or/and cheaty defiler abilities. Tanks are stronk, storm is stronk - but those kill units directly. Defilers act as "fun nulifiers" by making other units temporarily useless or permanently crippled. I dont think its particulary fun or fare to play against. Does zerg play any different in sc2?
