Wow! I am so humbled, that means the world coming from you! My daughter called me a hoarder when I started pulling her contact packaging from her trash. By the way, I saw your Howl's Moving Castle build when it was released. It was the spark that ignited my interest in starting my own channel. I thought " I am doing these projects for fun, might as well share". Thanks again!
The odd clips of the little girl speaking, and you being moderately surprised by what she’s saying makes me feel like I’m having a schizophrenic episode. Very bizarre
Welcome to the insane world of BioShock and Rapture. Hanging out with "little sisters" hopped up on Adam, everybody is going crazy! Thank you for watching!
Ok, this is just unreal. There are many kit-bashers and "recycling builders" on YT but this is a whole new level. You literally made a Big Daddy out of nothing! What really gets me is that you are so quick with it all. I know it took a long time but you are really a fast builder. I think this is why I would fail - I am too anal and couldn't handle any little misses or mistakes. Not saying that is at all what you did but I just couldn't go that fast. Hats off to you. I mean it. This is just a whole new level of capabilities. You see everything going together and just do it. I am off to binge all of your other videos now. And then, I might fire up Bioshock to relive some early 20's anxiety! lol
Wow thank you, really thank you for your comments! I have more to come it just takes time and this is a new channel. I am so glad you liked it! Enjoy BioShock.
Dude!!! This is the coolest most creative thing I've ever seen!!!! Why r u not in Hollywood or something building miniatures?!?!?? BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!! U HAVE A GIFT MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!
That's sooooooo insanely beautifully badass made all from scratch. That's an artist at his forevers best. Just perfection in detail. And hell yeshers your left handed too ,we leftys are wicked sweet ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your work is marvelous! The creativity, patience and talent is unlike anyone i've seen before. Bioshock is my favorite game franchise of all time, thank you for this nostalgic piece to my childhood!😄
This is by far the coolest diorama I have ever seen, the articulating drill, the material, the detail, way too cool. I've shared this a bunch can't wait to see what you make next.
Wow thank you so much, I'm so glad you liked it. And thank you for sharing, it's tough to get a new channel rolling. Your sharing really helps, thank you!
A GIANT 100/10 !!! Would watch again! From the narration to the paceing of the video. Top stuff. And of cause the big daddy himself.. just real nice. Hope there is more to come.
Wow, thanks you so much! I really appreciate it, this is a new channel and hearing that make building this channel worth while. And yes there will be more to come!
Glowing eyes than can change color? A WORKING DRILL?? Wow, wow, wow. The Bioshock series is in my all-time top 5, so this was so exciting to watch come together so flawlessly. Maybe the most impressive and accurate model build I've seen, and I watch a lot of content like this! Cannot wait to watch more of your content, instant subscribe.
Thank you for appreciating the work, detail, accuracy I was striving for! And thank you for watching and subscribing. Yes there is more to come, I think you will like it as well. Thank you!
Oh, thank you! I plan on doing a couple more BioShock inspired builds. (Big Sister and Songbird). I have some ideas I'm planning on doing going forward. But do you have a build you would like to see me do? Just curious.
@TalesFromTheArtSide I like the bioshock theme a lot. Some of the guns and weapons from the first game fully upgraded would be lots of fun to see ! I can see you started your show with the steam punk. If you like steam punk, you should continue with that, too. Your work has been a home run all 3 vids!
@TalesFromTheArtSide I just stopped and thought it over and come to reality with your situation right now you hooked a big audience with the Bioshock theme and the direction seems to all be in Bioshocks direction I do not want to give bad advice or loss your audience, but you know it works well, so try something new don't let us the audience convince you to milk Bioshock dry at the beginning or your channel, sprinkle that stuff in there for us! I love how mechanically your art is! Definitely keep doing the discarded item's thing too. It shows the talent and uniqueness of your work! Maybe switch it up to something like Peabody and Atlas from Portal 2. That would be awesome!
Thank you for your thoughts. Yeah I was thinking of Portal as well. Like you said it's tricky trying to figure out how to build apon what I have. Thank you for taking the time to think about my question and give a sincere, thoughtful answer. I appreciate it.
I have been a Bioshock fan since the first cult classic released. This is truly awe inspiring to see a built from scratch Bouncer Big Daddy, the amount of detail is just…WOW!!! Thank you for making this video. @ Tales From the Art Side 🎉👍👌🥇🏆
You sir, have a new subscriber. The attention to detail, the maker's advice, the creativity, and relaxed humor! Loved every second of this! You should make the plasmid light up tho!
Great job! I liked your work with the selection of simple shapes created from containers, lids, bottles, googly eyes, and other discarded things. You give a second life to these things! It's nice to hear a story about the creation process. The decorating and painting technique is simple and beautiful! Thanks for sharing! It's inspiring!
Thank you so much! And thank for appreciating the simplicity I try to use in creating what appears to be complex. Hopefully I can show/teach that more as the channel grows.
WOW!!!! You are Crafting Jesus. I truly mean it. I watched only this video so far and I’m hooked. I showed my wife, pointed and said “See! See!!! This is why I’ve been collecting STUFF for years!!!” She was impressed with your work. Still wants me to toss out my bits and bobs lol Thank you for sharing! Subscribed!
😂, I can totally relate, my daughter just shakes her head and says, "Dad we don't need to keep this" . I'm sorry my video didn't convince your wife that you need to keep the bits. Thank you so much for watching, and subscribing! It helps out a lot.More to come. Thank you!
Thank you for watching I really appreciate it! I enjoy talking broken items, junk, and trash and turning it into something of worth and beauty. Thank you!
How do you hook up the electronics for you projects? Like you have the motor hooked up with the wires through the big daddy but what allows you to power and control them? Also what do you use for your led lights, are they just typical light strips with a controller?
Bouncer-class Big Daddy 😮 What remains of Mark Meltzer, after he found Rapture in search of his kidnapped daughter Cindy and was caught by Lamb XD You say 'giblets', other channels say 'greeblies'. Different terms for the same miscelaneous bits If you made those plasmid bottles as keychains, I would buy one. That one looks better than any of the official merch for the games. Could you make a Big Sister, too?
I am so glad you liked it! Yeah I have a artist friend that started using the term "giblets" so I picked it up from him. I like it because it fits well (the left over chunks of meat that nobody really knows what to do with, so they often get thrown out, but in the right hand can make a great gravy). . . Look at that I'm a gravy maker! Anyway, stay tuned and you may see the Big Sister sometime soon.
Earned my sub. You’re gonna be big my man… just need to work on the audio… little white noise that playing throughout, but after your golden. I wish I had the superpower in seeing dioramas from junk (no disrespect, I just don’t know what to call it. Leftovers? Anyway) I’d be making all sorts of stuff. Damn, this useless brain!
Dude that’s incredible! Instant subscribe from me. I can just see you going up from here. You’ll get more familiar with doing voiceovers and finding your voice as time goes by. You’ve already got the seal of approval from Studson! You’re set!
Thank you so much! Yeah there's plenty of room for improvement on the voice overs but hopefully I can get that cleaned up more and more with practice. Thank you for subscribing, it all helps!
Thank you so much! Well it is a new channel and hopefully it will keep growing. Thank you for watching, you are helping build this baby channel. Thanks again!
First time watching this channel, and I learned two things from this video. First, apparently leather is the EVA foam of rich hobbysts and second, this dude shoots a worrying amount of bullets. Not sure if I wanna know where he points those at... Great results though!
First build of yours ive seen ❤ and wow 😮 really enjoyed the content and build. Can't wait to watch more. Happy to subscribe and like and looking forward to seeing more 😊
This is unreal!!! Not just the skill to bring the project to life but the eye to see potential in all the little parts you have lying around. End result is stunning! Subbed... looking forward to what you come up with next. :D
10% of this Big Daddy Is made out of Freedom! By the way, you did a gorgeous work there, and the spinning drill Is the cherry on top! I can't wait to see your future works!
Lol I love it! This Big Daddy is made of: foam, wood, plastic, . . . And Freedom! 😂 Well you might see more freedom fill projects in the future! I use what ever works, and I have freedom around here.
I stumbled across this video and I am in complete awe right now! 🤯 This is one of the most accurately detailed scratch builds I have ever seen. And the sheer amount of passion and work you put into this makes it even more impressive. I've been a huge fan of BioShock for a long time and this is the coolest thing I've seen that someone has created from the game. Hats off to you sir. Now please excuse me while I go harvest some Adam and watch more of your content after subscribing!
Wow thank you so much for your comments! I'm so glad you liked it! Thank you for subscribing, it really helps build this small channel. There is more BioShock related builds on n the way. Thank you again ☺️
Your video is awesome, but your audio really needs some work, if you are using adobe products to edit, try cleaning the noice with adobe audition. Awesome work, though!!
This was such a relaxing and inspiring watch. The use of recycled material was INSANE. Who knew Bullets had such an after use! I’d love to see more Bioshock videos! Such an underrated game nowadays! Fantastic work my friend! Bravo! 😊
im watching from the uk, no access to bullet casings lol, but your video was amazing to watch, you are one clever dude, absolutely brilliant, thank you 👍
I don't think I have ever subscribed faster to a channel. This is one if the best handmade builds I have ever seen on RU-vid or any other platform. Thank you
omgggggggggggg im a well technician and 25 seconds into the video i see that metal doo hicky with the float on it. Thats a air release for a pressure tank :D its just exciting to randomly see that, also really cool bioshock boi :)
Thank you! I'm glad you can appreciate and identify some of the odd pieces I'll tend to use. I knew it was some kind of valve didn't have any idea of what it came off of. Thanks for watching!
Me: Look at the pile of junk I'm going to use. "I got this, no problem". 10 hours into the process " What was I thinking" Then I finish the project "time to do the next one. ." Cycle of crazy 😜
Speechless. Just speechless. I watch a lot of model channels. But this is.... You deserve the world. Thank you so much for this. Subbed and here to annoy you with my comments.
Great video and diorama, and if I could suggest somthing I would love to see you do something from the movie 9 since that would be perfect for a build it from scratch diorama
Woah.. this is insanely cool.. I don't understand how you can see it and how to make it work so far ahead... So sick.. liked shared and subbed for this one.
Потрясающе!!!Говорю спасибо за прекрасно проведённое время. Лайк, подписка. Жду с нетерпением новых работ. Такое невероятное видение формы в разнообразных вещах. Вы по образованию художник?
Thank you so much! Yes I have been a professional artist for my career, and enjoy teaching and sharing what I have learned. Thank you for watching and subscribing, it means a lot!
it's been so long since i've heard or seen that big fella. i never played the game he originated from but younger me always thought his design and aspect was cool.
