It is great to see Elves, Dwarves and Humans working together and fighting alongside each other to defeat evil! Pity that we cannot all be like this in the 'real' world!
In the end the Evil is vanquished, the Elves leave and depart Middle Earth for the Undying lands. The Dwarfs dwindle in numbers and slowly fade out of existence while both races make way for the age of men and Mankind. Interesting but kind of depressing too.
It's a lot harder to fight against the evil, when they are your own kind. Not only your species, but your own race...people you know. People you've laughed with, loved. It hurts so much more..
@@muhammadgbadegesin8043 Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I mean no disrespect, but I have always preferred Middle Earth over Westeros and The world of Harry Potter.
This is one of the most beautiful music videos I've seen. I got the cold shivers of the music and how the editing is done to match the rhythms and mood of the music. I even let go of a couple of tears of how beautiful this is. Especially 1:08, 1:41 and 3:50
Janika Lindström yeah it truly is amazing isn’t it? I’ve tried to make a similar affect in a trailer for my coming fantasy feature film. It’s on my channel I’d love to know what you think of it.
+Will James Yes it is a good movie... If you ignore logic XD. Some scenes don't quite make sense... And my biggest gripe is how computer generated most things look, and then when you see something that isn't, it really stands out.
The part where Thorin and company charge out from under the mountain is one of the best parts of the book, and definitely the highlight of the movie. Just great.
In the extended edition of the movie, it showed a large number of dwarves from the Iron Hills riding on the war rams. Why they cut that from the theatrical release, I have no idea. Also, I was talking about just the part where they come out from under the mountain and the other dwarves rally to them.
From far away In mountains deep The night of blood In twilight sleep The armies fight For King and queen There will be no No victory The swords collide With power and force As mighty men Show no remorse It is the time The snow is melting It is the time Of reckoning
“Through action, a Man becomes a Hero Through death, a Hero becomes a Legend Through time, a Legend becomes a Myth and by learning from the myth a man takes action.”
This is only partially true, a man who has conviction, determination and honor will when needed confront evil with every ounce of his being to protect and defend that which he loves, God, Family and Country in that order. At that moment he wll put his life on the line do what it takes even if it costs him HIS life. Millions of men throughout the history of the world have done this and are doing it this very day. You may not see them or ever hear their name but they are there. Our veteran cemetaries are full of them. It takes much more than a myth to motivate a man to put his life on the line. It takes Love.
When I watched the movie, nothing happened When I listened to the piece, nothing either. Bu when I watched and listened to this video, I had goosebumps, and the Tauriel & Kili scene almost made me cry.
For 5.55 mins, time stood still, I could hardly breath and I could hear/feel every beat of my heart....... that's how powerful, mesmerising and truly stunning this video is. Thank you ✨💖✨
I don’t understand why so many people hated the hobbit series it’s sad because everyone I’ve heard who hates them loves the LOTR and they say “The hobbit is just full of so much unnecessary CGI and bad design/story it’s dumb” ????????????? Both series had as much practical effects and real design sets, props and world building as they could costing hundreds of thousands of dollars and they both FOR THEIR TIME had the best CGI at the time They carried over the characters and expanded the story on an already loved story And for those who complained “Well it’s dumb there is only 1 book!” Tolkien when he first offered LOTR to his editor ALL 3 BOOKS WERE 1 GIANT NOVEL his editor said he HAD to separate it into manageable novels so he did and now we have the three books THEN he made the hobbit and was always planning to make it a massive 3 book series as well but learned from his past and made it a decent sized book for his readers............. sssoooooooooooooooooooooo
Um he wrote the hobbit first and it was published first. The only reason lotr was three books was at the time the cost of paper so it had to be split for costs otherwise it would have remained one. But trust me the hobbit was written first.
Ethan Mitchell Most of these "haters" are younger folks used to having images spoon-fed to them, as opposed to using their imaginations and suspending disbelief. A pox on them! :)
You just say nonsense. 1-Special effects are fine if you know how to use them.Using special effects for absolutely EVERYTHING is visually frightening. 2-The film has no epic, Peter Jackson never knew how to make an epic, and LOTR has some epic but not too much 3-The characters are forced and have no logic (Thorin acts as a useless when he is a king, Tauriel only exists to complete a love triangle, Radagast is a clown when he is supposed to be a maia, Azog is horribly recreated with CGI, he is a cliché villain who shits part of the film, Bilbo takes second place when in the book he is the protagonist, the separation of the dwarves in Esgaroth is stupid, etc) 4-Films last 3 hours and the rhythm is poorly managed, you have at least 1 hour left. 5-Some scenes are ridiculous (the gobblin king, Radagast, Thrain, Sauron, Beorn)
The Battle of 5 armies is one of my favourite films. Love Two Steps from Hell. You have made a masterpiece, bringing two awesome epics together!!! The editing is just fantastic... especially the flashbacks!!!! And perfect synchronization and timing with the song! This really made my day....
I really liked this.. whenever I see the movie and the scenes where Fili, Kili and Thorin die, it brings a game quote to mind for me from dragon age, the wardens motto specifically.. The way they sacrificed themselves was sad tho..
Whenever I got struck in any problematic situation, I use to listen🎧 it, it really gives me goosebumps got motivated, at mid it really gives me goosebumps........... Since 5 years I got smartphone and use to listen this masterpiece freom that time❤❤
I love everything about this. When I first watched the movies, I was really put off by the inaccuracies, but upon rewatches, I have found that most of the differences really work. They make the movie more enjoyable. Like the barrel scene in the book would have been boring to watch, but the added danger makes it a fantastic sequence. Still reconciling my feelings about Tauriel and Kili. Their arc makes sense and is well done and makes me feel emotion. But the fact that the writers took a side character and gave him a nonexistent love interest is kind of off-putting. But I do love that Fili and Kili have a more important role in the movie. In the book, it was mentioned that they had fallen in battle, but I love how their deaths were given more meaning and emotion. Rant aside, I love this video! The music gives me chills, whether or not I'm watching it. But the expertly timed cutting is beautiful and I love it!
The best moment i ever learnt from J. R. R. Tolkien novels like The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy and the hobbits are the moment when Elves decided to help, stick together with their alies, The Rohirium decided to march to Gondor to help them in their odds....everything....which shows what should we( humans) should do....be unite together instead of fighting each others, common...do we ever learnt from mistakes?do we ever and even learnt from the lesson the movie we watched?humans.....we should really think about that....while this epic music plays
This song is so beautiful like all the others on this channel!! This song with the cinematic just brings up feelings and memories from the movie and kinda makes me sad that they quit with this epic triology :(!!!
