On this adventure, I head up to the Eastern Sierra and camp and fish for three days at Trumbull Lake campground. I camp, catch a bunch of trout, eat some dank food and enjoy mother nature's offerings. Camping solo is always an adventure and this one was quite the doozy. Enjoy!

Dude... you're an effing Manimal! I can't believe you can fit all that fishing, camping and photo gear into that little car! How do you have the energy to cook all that dank food after fishing all day?? Man.. you were able to cook on an open grill even with all that effing rain!!! Holy Shyte! can't believe how well you did under the circumstances!! Great job bro!! thanks for posting. You're a pretty damn good cook! 👍👍

Great capture of the trip and fishing. It's also nice when it's late season and lesss crowds. Do you have to book the sites in advance or do they allow walk ins?

Totally agree Ed, the storm lessened the crowds for sure. For that specific campground, I booked this site way in advance on recreation.gov

Learned some East Sierra fishing tricks. Thanks. You mention fishing with GSF Mini Jigs. I got some of them. What GSF colors do you like to fish in the East Sierras?

I had lots of success on dark colored GSF jigs, anything in dark pattern seems to work well in the ES.
