I live in California and I camp and fish as much as I possibly can. Come hang out and enjoy nature with me, my fam, my homies and anyone I randomly meet along the way!
I fished everywhere up there for 35 years, back in the 80's rush creek had some toad browns, june loop is a nice place, thx for sharing, i scribed, i left cali a long time ago. Hope your guys time was great.
Heck yeah that looked like an awesome place to camp and fish, them mountains in the background were 🔥 Y’all definitely got on some solid trout, looked like a great weekend. Great job on the video fellas!
@@soulcalaj I notice you are sporting the HUK fishing boots. How are they? I'm in the market, true to size? How about overall comfort during a full day of fishing? I hike a lot to get to certain fishing areas, especially in the sierras, how are they for overall hikes to get to where i'm going, nothing worse than sore feet! Thanks for any info you can provide.
@@kevinclark1348 I really like my huk boots currently, very comfortable and has great traction. I usually always go with a muck boot but these Huk boots were affordable and have lasted a long time. I fish several times a week and they've been super high quality so far. Definitely recommended.
I got you! It's the Coleman instant setup cabin, I have the 4 person and 6 person models and they absolutely rock. Great for setting up quickly and great windows, weather resistant.
Great capture of the trip and fishing. It's also nice when it's late season and lesss crowds. Do you have to book the sites in advance or do they allow walk ins?
Learned some East Sierra fishing tricks. Thanks. You mention fishing with GSF Mini Jigs. I got some of them. What GSF colors do you like to fish in the East Sierras?
Awesome video boyz! Good times were had by all. Thanks for bringing us along. Do you feel like white trash roughing it in a tent while all your neighbors are in $200,000 motorhomes and fifth-wheel trailers? 🤣 Yer cooking game was a bit sub-par compared to what you usually post, but hey... you're workin' mostly with a campfire... so good job! I agree with previous poster, you're really lucky to have such light winds while you were there!
Dude... you're an effing Manimal! I can't believe you can fit all that fishing, camping and photo gear into that little car! How do you have the energy to cook all that dank food after fishing all day?? Man.. you were able to cook on an open grill even with all that effing rain!!! Holy Shyte! can't believe how well you did under the circumstances!! Great job bro!! thanks for posting. You're a pretty damn good cook! 👍👍
Thanks man! Such a great time! Appreciate it. Would love to fish with you in Big Bear if the planets align correctly, I just got a spot in Big Bear City so we'll have to connect dude.
@@soulcalaj No doubt! I'd be down for it. We'll set something up once the bite settles in. I've been fishin' up there 3 days a week covering the whole lake figuring out where the fish are now with the full lake.
You can park anywhere along the shore (that's accessible by car), no tickets. In all my experience, i've never had any issues with anyone/anything sketchy with regards to my car. With all that in mind, always stay vigilant!
Awesome video bro wondering if you could answer simple question, I'm going up there for 4th of July or a week before so maybe want to book 2 days there, was wondering if its safe for pets there and for my Wife and I to go down there with our pup to fish? Is it hard to get there on the lake edge? Also what side of the campground do u recommend behind the RV resort or by the Observatory?
All great questions! Definitely safe for pets, just keep an eye on them obviously. The lake is incredibly full right now so the walk down from Serrano to the shore should be a lot easier this spring/summer. I recommend Summer Wind loop as they have more space between sites it seems.
Very cool video and great camp spot. When I saw you guys putting up those Easy Up canopies, I knew that afternoon/evening Mohave wind would wreak havoc on those aluminum legs and frame cause it has happened to me.
“You know what I like, blowing my nose with toilet paper! I really like that” …famous old Pops quotes! See if you can find where I say that. 🤪. Another fine video son!
