All great ideas! Personally I would love to see a Troll adventure, maybe something akin to the side adventure in the old PC game Baldurs gate 2 where the Bhaalspawn is put in charge of clearing out the keep belonging to Nadia of Trolls.
Missed opportunity, they should have provided two minis of the lich. One seated and one standing as per normal minis so she could be moved around or used in other settings. Wizkids/Paizo did the same with Pharasma and it's a shame they didn't have one without the throne.
Trouble is that both of those creatures are Wizards of the Coast intellectual property, so I can't imagine we'll see Epic Encounter boxes for them. But, perhaps they'll think of something similar! -Theo
If I may be permitted to indulge once more in plugging my absolute favorite series of supplements for D&D/ AD&D to add to Theo's amazing suggestions . For those new to the community on their amazing discord server or even here in the comments I see referring once more to the various guides to monsters from the Ravenloft setting ( particularly either his guide to Liches in this case or his 2nd compilation which contains the previous mentioned book along with his books on ghost and the ancient dead or mummy's to use our vernacular). These supplements are a wonderful way for both newer DM's and PC's to learn how to create memorable characters
Please plug away! I think one of the best things about DMs Guild is making older edition sourcebooks available as it is typically a pain to track down out of print TTRPG books and they are a wealth of inspiration to draw from. Especially with wikis these days, I love reading the articles and learning about the history and then being able to look at the reference list and go pick up all the listed books. -Grady
@@TheGallantGoblin if you recommend it I can think of no higher praise my friend! Are the things which Theo and you written available on it? If so I'm beyond sold!
