I really love this series, keep it up. Your channel is going to explode!!! Very cool! I moved to Nashville in 91 and hung out in the house next door several times. Drew (keyboardist he mentioned) and Derek (drums) were great guys and helped me get a temp job at the Pearl warehouse

50.500 as of today - at 5:30 PM my local time. And the studios are just getting better and better. Been loving and having a great time following your journey and development from some new to filming and documenting - ranting about gear for gearheads - to soon to be ( hopefully) internationally renowned YT studio celeb. Just wait till Bob Rock calls you for a studio tour... :) Pretty soon people will flock to your studio tours ( as they already are) in drowes..... just waiting and hoping for the next Andrew Masters release. How will you even make time to produce music yourself? Congrats Andrew,- inside of yourself you must be waking up smiling every morning these days.... :)

I'm always surprised to see how most music studio set ups have a set of NS-10's as monitors, not because of any performance traits they may or may not have but because of how long ago they were discontinued and how they still seem to be obtainable...used or otherwise.

HA! Love this! Funny story about the books. They were purchased and are used strictly for diffusion. There are multiple duplicate copies. Richard and his wife purchased these at a sale at a book store without any regard to the titles. I've actually picked out a few to try to read and it quickly became evident why these were on sale.

Why not put the studio name in the video title? It would make searching through all of them a lot easier, seeing as they're all 'EPIC' and the length covers up the key info. Would be very useful! Anyway, cool vid as always.

Going through your archive is pretty frustrating to see what studio is what and it's only going to get worse as the amount of videos increase. Not slating your content, I love the videos.. but for archival purposes it would really help to have some link to the actual studio you're showing off.

Does anyone have any idea how he is able to fully isolate all the iso booths with just those doors?

Hey Abin, Full isolation is difficult to achieve unless you have the budget, real estate and contractor to pull it off. There is often a small amount of bleed when I'm tracking. Normally that creates zero issues when it comes time to mix. If I run into an issue where bleed starts to become problematic, I will space out my sound sources as far apart as possible using the furthest booths. If this does not work, I'll rely on tracking in layers saving the more subtle instruments for last. This will allow more isolation if needed. Hope this answers your question!
