Join us for an epic kiteboarding session in Brazil, where the wind is as wild as the tricks we pull off! 🪁🌬️
Our adventure begins with the arrival of my buddy, Oli, a talented kiteboarder from Germany. As we introduced him to the bustling local spot, the wind started to pick up, promising an exciting session ahead.
With the wind graph indicating perfect conditions, we couldn’t wait to hit the lagoon. Oli and I kicked off our session with some big boogie loops and aggressive late backrolls. Our goal? To clear the lagoon with our tricks and make more space for everyone.
As Oli cleared the lagoon with a massive boogie loop, local riders João and José arrived. Known as the Acai Bros, these amazing kiteboarders work at the local acai shop, @_acai_na_praia. With the wind going crazy in the lagoon, they sent their kites to the moon, pulling off massive loop tricks with multiple rotations and board-offs. It was so spectacular, it felt like we were part of the local King of the Air 2023!
Despite some spectacular crashes (mine being the most memorable 😅), the session was a blast. Can’t wait for the next one, homies!
