As a photographer, I dislike using photoshop each time to manually add the flares onto my subjects. I do see the value of this tool for me as I do enjoy using the cinebloom filter as well. But dang, Moment just keeps on creating things that make it easier for us to do what we do!
I'm really stoked to use this product, Thanks Moment ! Just curious to know, if CineFlare or CineBloom can only be used on DSLRs or Can I use them for IPhone Videography ?
I'm there with you with the whole do it quick and dirty but make it look quality! This filter is exactly the kind of tool that makes gorilla filmmaking so much fun!
i noticed probably with the first digital camcorders and non-dslr point-and-shoot digital cameras that offer video recording, if a light source hits the lens directly if gives a distinct vertical line flare that cuts across the entire frame usually. curious to know what the aperture make-up is in these cameras that give off a flare like that (not that it's great in terms of photography)
Good afternoon. Can you suggest me how to buy a filter from the brand: "Moment" with the reference: CineBloom Diffusion Filter 10% 67 mm. The brand is North American and they do not make sales/deliveries to southern Europe in my case to Portugal...
I hope you guys will also make the (only affordable) 4x5 Filter for matte boxes? 😁 Btw. I love the golden streak! So happy that you are producing that one. 👍🏼
Therefore, pair that with the Great Joy anamorphic to get back the crazy streams whilst still getting that oval bokeh? Take my money and give me the 77mm ones!
Let me ask you guys something: if I were to pair any of the anamorphic CineFlares to a Moment ND, what would the result be? Would it alter my "look" in any way or JUST the lighting?
Yeah your youtube title is misleading although the product name itself is not - "CineFlare Streak Filter" - it's not anamorphic unless it films in the anamorphic squeeze aspect ratio of course as you well know since you sell them for iphones!
I think we should be more responsible with our titles. Specially since there is so many young film makers looking to understand the ins and outs of the craft. This filter does not make your video look anamorphic. Flares are one of the superficial characteristics but most of the time they don't even show. Change the tittle to "anamorphic flares for a 100" because the message you are sending is that anamorphic is horizontal stripes.
Only problem with streak filters is they effect Bokeh, plus $80 is a crazy price considering you can get a streak filter from aliexpress for more than half that price. Sorry MOMENT but this is massively overpriced.
