Last weekend, Jlo & I made a last minute decision to go on a trip with Captain Dillon of Ocean Explorer Charters ( / ocean-explorer-charter... , to target the species famously known as Mahi Mahi.
Now we have only ever fished for this species a couple times in the past, but this was the first trip that we were actually going to dedicate to find them and try to catch them.
The day started off with rough conditions and hardly any signs of fish, but we never gave up. We continued to search and ended up finding a couple of fish.
Eventually, after grinding through the rough conditions, we finally ran into a school of greedy fish and almost doubled our catch in the space of 10 mins! It was epic chaos! You have to watch it!
