Tony!! Will be in touch, aware we still haven’t had our walk in the peak yet. Back at work for 6 months (Black Sheep Brewery 👍), it’s been too long now 🙁 See you soon ❤️
Lovely outing, nicely filmed too. Brought back memories from 20 years ago doing those two hills on a cold October day with stags roaring nearby. Then our navigator sent us down the south west ridge on the final descent & we had a very long walk out in the dark!
Thanks Duncan. Wow! A similar experience then! 😂 That first time we ended up going down the gully, missed the path in the dark. Freezing fog too, couldn’t undo our bootlaces back at the car. Memories!! 🤗
Hi Mick 😊 Good ol’ Dennis, eh? 😀 too many times of late I have left him at home, but he’s behaving beautifully lately 😉 might have something to do with a mutual friend of ours who is a drone expert 🤗
Hi Sue nice to meet you. You went on a great journey and captured some amazing shots 3:34 with all the brillant snow. We have looking forward to catching up on your adventures. We have liked no subbed to show our support. Chelsea and Mike
Superb Sue or should I say Dave for kicking this one off with a brave dip in the pool baring all. These mountains are incredible - a grand explore for sure. I have to say the light was with you - it made for some inspiring footage - lots of contrasts. What with snack dilemmas a great time had. I imagine you guys were mellow as in that bar by the fire. Lovely. All the best. Mark
Hi Mark 😊 I don’t know how he does that freezing water, I’m kind of envious but not enough to try it myself 😳 I adore Scotland. A place to lose oneself, and be at one with a bunch of rampaging stags 👌
@@FIVE-FOOTLyth I know Sue - I can do November but then as you say it gets painful. I just get back up to Scotland - it is amazing stags and all. Have a great weekend.
Wow Sue, I didn't know youd bagged all the munros! Well done Dave on getting in the cold water! I had a cold shower today for no particular reason other than I could, and I felt amazing afterwards! Not so much during, admittedly. Amazing views before the sun came out but then it was stunning! Dont know why but I got giggles every time i heard the voice over pronouncing the mountain names 😅 I've had toothpaste on my face a few times on these videos now as well Sue, but I'd expect someone who's with me to have told me 😂 how incredibly tame was that deer! Well, towards you at least. Mmm venison stew 😋 fantastic day Sue. Cheerio!
Sorley Maclean always makes me laugh 😂😂😂 I reckon his reputation can withstand it! Ah, the cold showers… well done Matt, I secretly envy it but haven’t had the courage to get in really cold water. You should hear Dave when he does the cold shower thing, it’s deafening 😂 I wonder, do you suffer the cold silently or are you just as loud? 🤣 Do continue to share the cold dips, you never know I might be mad enough to try it one of these winter days. Aye, the Munros… a labour of love. The allure of those mountains never lessens. Thanks for the comments, they’re very much appreciated
@@FIVE-FOOTLyth I live alone Sue and my neighbours must wonder what the hell is going on because I'm shrieking the building down when I'm in the cold shower (when I can actually catch my breath) 😆 I'd recommend easing yourself in with the odd blast of cold at the end of a hot shower, maybe wait till summer though!
Scotland 🏴🏔️ showcased perfectly Sue (what a stunning day it turned into 🤩) Loved the pronation of the Gaelic names (sounds like the academic from A tv program on the highlands back in the 80?? 😊) The stag felt more comfortable in the cold 🥶 water than Dave 🙌🙌 Great film Regards Simon 🤠👍🏔️
Hi Simon 🤗 I love a bit of Sorley Maclean 🤣 A dear friend of ours who lives in the NW highlands was Sorley’s nephew, and his pupil at school. He doesn’t have the same reverence for the old boy as most others do 😂 Have a grand weekend, Sue
Glorious!! You sure got the good weather and the views are to die for. Looked like that stag had some post-rut injuries on its flanks? Maybe why he was so tired and approachable. Nowt wrong wi venison stew though Sue 😋😋
Hi Ian, you’ve yet to try my strew.. next portion will be in Torridon between Christmas & New Year. Those stags… I thought they might be feeders, amazing how tame they are. I guess they’ve calmed down again now. Some great times on those hills during November ❤️
Hullo!!! ❤️ They are red deer, such graceful creatures when they’re not bellowing & locking horns, and mighty when they are. You’re no stranger to beauty, so very pleased you enjoyed the views. TTFN! Sue
