And those dwarf rainbows 😍 something I've never kept either, they're such stunning fish and definitely a beautiful addition to an aquascape or beautifully planted tank! What a lovely selection of fish and how I would love to find a shop that caters to aquascapers! That is amazing and very impressive! The Driftwood with the plants attached is so lush and beautiful!! The always beautiful Tropica plants😍💚🌿🌱 what a beautiful betta and scape your friend has there💚 I always enjoy the lovely aquascapes you bring to us and these are such a pleasure to get to see. Such an amazing store ran by two amazing people. So lucky to have Horizon on my doorstep, although I think I spend more time here than at home :-) Great walk around George, I’d highly recommend anyone to visit as there is something for everyone and it’s very difficult to leave without finding something that takes your fancy.

Great video George and a brilliant showcase of Horizon. This is my ‘local’. My family only got into the hobby earlier this year. I got the impression this place was special but after seeing all these comments makes me feel very fortunate to have James and Nicole just round the corner. They give solid advice, recently got a Betta from them which has been a fantastic addition to our scape

Those fish you weren't sure about are Phenacogrammus aurantiacus! A beautiful fish in the same genus as the congo tetra. Really surprised that they aren't more widespread already!

Thanks George, to my knowledge there is nothing like this store in Australia. I think the problem is multi factorial . We have restrictive laws governing the importation of livestock and plants,both aquatic and terrestrial. Additionally we have nothing like your population density and I think there’s a catch up needed here in both supply and demand. In the meantime I will just have to enjoy your postings vicariously.

Beautiful shop! When I can travel again, my first overseas trip will be the UK. I love your country. I always have. Long before I found you. I was 21 when I first visited London. I fell in love with London and have been back probably a dozen times since then. *sigh* I miss traveling.

Would love to see a store like that in the San Francisco area. I have evolved over the last two years George to have removed most stem plants from the 240 gallon. The pruning in a 24" tall tank was just a hassle. I've gone all perennials,ferns,mosses,Swords. Cleaner look also. Not cluttered as I took out some branches and fist size rocks. Of course when I added them,they were for decor. But,time is telling..and they just took up space. Keep up the great work..lift the hobby past fish as toys and into something special that makes a well done aquarium what it is.

I can get mini bolbitis to grow pretty good in 84dregree black ram tank. Using a finnex plant clip on on a 10 gallon, only sand but injecting fertilizer. It’s actually growing pretty good some die off in the beginning, but it’s growing better with more water changes 3 a week on that tank

I am struck by the order and cleanliness of the shop, looks like an outpatient clinic in a very nice neighborhood. Absolutely beautiful, love how every animal tank was planted, not just good marketing, but good for well-being of both.
