The crowd was especially insane for this Finals because it was in Paris, and it was Europe's first real chance (as well as any Western team) at winning the World Championship since season 1 eight years prior. Thus they were going crazy for the second team, G2 Also, interesting to think about how massive that crowd was, and within 6 months we were stuck in COVID. I miss having fans in the stands...

I remember when i coming to this final for the first time (because G2 of course), i keep whispering "This is my game" the whole time when opening show started. It's just really so unreal E-Sport reaching the peak at that moment.

I loved this one so much. Great performances, and they had see-through holoscreens around the stage on which the images were projected, so the audience could see all the special effects. Also, I've been looking up numbers, and it looks like this one either had slightly more or slightly less than that year's Super Bowl. Both had about 100 mil viewers regardless, but actual breakdowns are hard to find.

Great finals! This was the best one and was The Wests best chance to beat Asian Teams(Chinese and Korean) in nearly a decade. Asian teams have won something like 7 of the last 8 world championships. 2018 and 2019 Europe had teams become finalists, but both times they went 0-3 in the championship. NA teams haven't been a finalist since... the first championship season or something like that. Its a sad state of affairs.

All of the World's in total have been amazing. The only World's performance I'd say to skip, content wise, would be 2020. Because of Covid there was no crowd and you could feel it. The players and the performers didn't have the same energy that they normally would have. The camera crew couldn't cut away to the crowd during the performance, there wasn't switching of camera angles really, it was lacking. Thats the one thing about sports in general, no crowd, no feedback, no hype. Imagine a basketball finals with no one in the stands, your players aren't as motivated with no one to cheer them on. After a while that same hype that they came out with wares off during the whole game. Thats what World's 2020 was to me, we couldn't be there and the players and performers suffered because of it. hi first of all excuse my english i'm french so i will made you this more clearly if i can ! i was in the arenafor this show so few thing you need to know ! 1 : everyone in the arena can see the effect and animation you see cuz they put two " mirror " if you was in front of them you see the same as you see in video 2 : the subttile at the end are automaticly made by youtube and they are fck up they are bullshit is not correct as Noi say ( Noi is the french commentator you hear in first the second was " Chips " ) 3 : the crowd was massive and french people on league of legend got the reputation to be the best crownd ( but in game we got a really bad reputation of toxic player xD ) 4 : you need to react to every single world ceremonie they are all insane since 2014 they made a whole show at every begening of grand final like this one 5 : the blond asiat rapper was soyon it's the same you see on KDA live stage with the purple jacket 6 : every year they made a song special for the world ( in 2014 they put imagine dragon the most famous one ( not the best but the most famous for me the best is world collide in 2015 ) ) 7 : you must react to "Arcane " the serie league of legend made on netflix with imagine dragon made the music " ennemy " for the serie 8 : League of Legend ( LOL ) is the most popular video game on the Esport scene and people can't even imagine how huge they are and you see a lot of people in the arena but on every stream for this event more than 2 Million person watch this final hope this few thing help you to better understand this ( sry again for my english xD ) nice channel keep going !

The 2020 Worlds Opening Ceremony was a downgrade but its okay imo cuz you know.. all the crazy stuff going on around the world, you can skip it or u can check it out ion your own time, but its still good for me.
