As someone who is tormented by severe psychological issues, I felt Phoenix impact me powerfully too. If only it were so easy as beating a clone version of me.
The players look really tense but you have to understand that they are about to have the most important match of their lives. They havent won yet. It is so incredibly difficult to get where they are so it might be the only chance they'll ever have. They went through months of training for this moment. And all of that tention is still built up in them. They still have to focus and do their absolute best in the next couple of hours to bring home the trophy.
Ya I understend how tense they are. This all must be so incredibly difficult and I am sure that in there place is hard to even smile. And i am very amazed that they are handling the situation so well and have so much control over their emotions. Those people are just amazing and strong and I have so much respect for them.
Was probably the best opening show i have ever seen anywhere. Only working when its dark. They are using nearly invisible screens for the visuall effects.
It allways makes me smile how the crowd goes absolutely ballistic when they finally see the cup emerge from that thingy, they go wild during the performance, but for the cup, oh boy!
@@MagicMagy No the cup Promisq was helding was the cup from MSI (Mid-Season invitational) which is another international tournament held in between splits, so second biggest tournament of the year. G2 won it that year, and this year it was cancelled because of covid. So G2 is still the defending champion. Also the logos when the cup was shown first time were previous winners in order of Fnatic, TPA, SKT, SSW, SKT, SKT, SSG and iG.

League has many regional leagues spread throughout the world, the first team in red were from China's LPL, their trophy was the LPL Summer Split trophy, they were the champions of their region on the summer split, while the team in white are from Europe's LEC, they were holding the MSI Cup (Mid-Season Invitational, which is the second biggest tournament in League, the first being the World Championship itself, MSI is an international event where most of the regions compete for the trophy, MSI is done in the middle of the season, and I think it's done that way as there are frequent patch notes and balance changes in League, and something wouldn't be as powerful as it is currently after a while, which is why on World's grand finals, it's pretty much the Version of League of Legends 2019 that's as balanced as it gets), and in case you're wondering, the team in white won both summer and spring splits in their regions aswell, supposedly they were gonna win every single trophy that year, but they unfortunately lost this World Championship

Yeap, ur right... Alot of ppl still think that audience could see 2018 and 2020 characters on stage as well. They didn't realize these were completely different technologies.

It is a behind the scenes look that Riot games did on this opening ceremony and everything that went into it and how they accomplished it :) it is super good. love your reactions, keep it up! ps the part where it shows all the logos and you asked if they were the sponsorships, those are the previous winners of the world championship :) In order: Season 1 - Fnatic Season 2 - Tapai Assassins Season 3 - SKT (Best player of all time, Faker, plays on this team) Season 4 - Samsung White Season 5 - SKT Season 6 - SKT (This is why if you see the SKT players they have 3 gold stars under their logo on their jerseys, won worlds 3 times) Season 7 - Samsung Galaxy (This was the inspiration for the music video Rise, showing Ambition from Samsung Galaxy rising to the top and beating Faker from SKT in worlds finals) Season 8 - Invictus gaming Also, both teams have cups with them because there are regional leagues around the world. So FPX won the LPL which is China's regional league to get to worlds, and G2 won LEC which is Europes regional league. So they are just showing that they won their respective leagues in their journey to the worlds championship :)
The Cups they presented were the Trophys for winning their respective Region (Europe for G2 and China for FPX) which made them qualify prior to this Worlds championchip.
They both had cups because to get to worlds, you must compete and typically succeed (top 2 or 3) in your local Region First. Advancing is abit more complicated than that, but you get the gist. Those were the Trophies from their local Region Championships that they won. The competitive year is Normally split into a Local Region Spring Split, an International Mid Summer Invitational, a Local Region Summer Split, followed by the World Championship at the end of the year. Your Success in the Spring, MSI, and Summer Events earns your spot in Worlds.
no G2s trophy was the international MSI trophy where just the number 1 seeds of all regions compete in so G2 could go with 2 cups on stage coz they were summer champions and MSI champs ;) the rest explained is correct :)

Hahah thank you I am still learning how to do them, but i am very proud of this one. It took a lot of time. I actually got two separete photos and the one of the singers with the laso tool made it like a png and than put some effects and the cup.
Riot Games is a Billion Dollar Company (part of Tencent) who views these Finals not only as a e-sports event but also as a way to Celebrate the year and it is Marketing at the same time. Riot has a roughtly 100 million Marketing Budget so putting on a bit of a Show is no big deal for them.
@@MagicMagy I bought a ticket for the LEC (the regional league that qualified G2, the team that was introduced last) in 2018 for the finals here in Copenhagen and it was quite expensive but really enjoyable. So I’m fairly certain they make back their money on the event only. You can also buy merch from the light sticks in the video to jerseys with each respective player’s name
