@@spainrevealed hi 🙂 I will be touring Paris really soon & was wondering is there anyway Jess could connect with me to do a tour please?? Will be with my daughter & we would LOVE to have your presence with us.. please advise. Thanks!
We loved our Paris Ultimate Food Tour! Our guide Dave was knowledgeable and a lot of fun. The selection of stops on our tour gave us good variety. We discovered places we never would have found and more importantly, the stories and information that Dave shared made each stop a memorable one. Thank you Dave for a wonderful afternoon with Devour Tours!
@@maurice22ravel Patriarcal fatophobia ??? A new concept with non sense. Curvy and even big girls where promoted in History by patriarcal culture. Who made this new canon of beauty promoting anorexic androgenic caïnoman super models..? Big fashion designers who are mosly all gay (and by definition don't like women. "Killing the father" is not a solution but the abvious source of maybe not all but a lot of our modern problems. In sociology if you get rid of a system you theorically have to replace it by another What do you suggest ?
Careful with the "you can smell a good bakery", the one near where I lived in Paris spread artificial odors and looked "authentic" with stone and wood everywhere. They were selling industrial bread. A real bakery must contain "boulangerie" in it's name, if it doesn't, it's selling frost products.
@@IronFreee So "artisan boulangère" would mean that there is at least one artisan but doesn't imply that bread is made inthere? I'd guess that an artisan is the master of the craftsmanship of bread, so it seems a bit contradictory.
@@constipados Well, a lot of restaurants have a cook but only sell pre-prepared industrial food. You can have an artisan making some but not all of the products or none. If the artisan does the bread then it will be call "Boulangerie". All boulangeries have artisans by definition.
DEFINITELY more Jess! She is FRENCH. Knows the food, language, people, etc. Let her explain . . .I love that he brings the tour to the world, but would have loved to have listened to more of her descriptions.
Appreciated that you focused on one area, Le Marais, instead of trying to cover all of Paris. Perhaps you could do separate videos on other areas. I would watch them all, especially if Jess offered commentary.
This is perhaps the best food vlogging in Paris. Believe me guys, I've noted all the names, in fact chalked out a plan to execute this in two days, during my stay in April next year. It's elaborate, detailed and showcased all possible hidden gems. Most vloggers, kept on talking looking at the camera, some only show the outside aimlessly. Yours is a piece of jewel.
Arghh I ended up watching the entire video and now I love her. So bubbly and always smiling. Seems soooo nice. ♥ Got distracted there. Great video from both of you. Jess - the expert.
When you were eating the Steak Tartare it reminded me of when Mr. Bean ordered Steak Tartare and then hated it so much that he was putting it in other customers purse in the restaurant. It's one of the funniest episodes ever !!!
I'm a parisien, and thank you so much because you made me discover some places that i didn't know ! Moslty Caractere de cochon oh my god, look simple but so good !!
I AM A VIETNAMESE - AMERICAN. HELLO 👋EVERYONE THANK YOU VERY MUCH BECAUSE YOUR CHANNEL BRING ME DISCOVER SOME PLACES THAT I DIDN'T KNOW. I WISH SOME DAY I'LL VISIT PARIS 🇫🇷 BEST WISHES TO EVERYONE 🙏
We just discovered this video by accident and we are hooked. I love your energy (both you and Jess) and how descriptive you are about the places you visit. I have written down several places you visited and we will definitely be trying them on our next visit to Paris. We can't wait to watch all of your other videos!
So much fun hanging out with you both. I was in Paris in 2016 and loved my time in the city. Thanks for including me on your tour! You've inspired me to return. . . and enjoy all the things I loved when I was there. Darryl
Woa! I'm so excited Devour Tours has a Paris footprint! I took the Devour Seville tour this May and it was absolutely the highlight of our 11 day trip in Spain! I'm going with my mom on a mother-daughter trip to Paris soon, so I'll check out Devour Paris :)
I wrote every one of the visits down!! I am from canada and my brother is from London. He is getting married but for my birthday we are dong a day trip to Paris. Id much rather see the culture and the small cafe's than I would castles etc LOL. Im sure we will have a wonderful time now!!! See you in April!!
The video is wonderful! You guys are amazing! Jess is awesome! Loved listening to her speaking in my two favorite languages- English and Francais! Bonne chance!
Très bien réussi ! As a lunatic for France and french cuisine (call me "franco-fou") with german origin I appreciate your good work by selecting great spots and your passionate descriptions are gorgeous. Glad you left your spanish comfort zone. Merci beaucoup!
@@spainrevealed Thx... James, next time in Paris you should explore the Rue des Marthyrs in the 9. Arr (south of Pigalle). Between Notre Dame des Lorette and Rue Victor Massé you'll find in that small street heading uphill towards Boulevard de Clichy within some 100 meters a lot of food stores such as Boulangeries / Patisseries, Boucheries / Traiteurs, Fromagers, Poissonneries, Magasins des gibier, Epiceries, etc. ...all local clients, no tourist trap 😉👍
The best of La France is yet to come! A new & very HOLY Grand Monarch, named Henri, (descended of St Louis, roi) is promised to, and prophesied for, France "when everything seems lost'🎆👑
I ordered french onion soup at three different bistros during my 2013 Paris trip and non of them were served au gratin. Hope to revisit Paris this year and will try to do your tour as everything sounds wonderful. Thanks for this video it was lovely.
Actually , it s quite a good video , you made me discover great spots , no luxury , no fanciness , just authentic parisian cuisine . Even if I would have liked to see you some dessert but , all in all , you nailed it !
Bonjour. Nice edit & tour but I can tell you one thing : there is so much french food to discover ! You just showed less than 5% of our gastronomy but I know it's impossible to talk about everything in a single video :) VIVE LE PASTIS Greetings from France ♥
Just checked most of the places you recommended. You were right-they are good. Thank you for making this video 🍀 helped us to discover the beauty of Paris food 🍲
I think it's fantastic you are expanding to other countries. I wish you all the best. I will be joining one of your tours when I move to Spain next year.
Thank you so very much!!! Your video was fun, informative, great sights of Paris, and I'm hungry now 😋 I'm planning on taking my amazing 10 year old daughter to Europe this summer, we're from Langley City BC Canada 🇨🇦, and Paris is one of the 3 countries and cities we're planning. I'll be referencing your tips again. Merci
I need a food tour guide next time i am in paris. Although some of my fondest memories are just walking into a random restaurant and discovering some random DELICIOUS dish completely by accident.
Just left Paris - of course had to take this tour before I left & it was GREAT - Jess was so fun & knowledgable - the food places we visited offered yummy items - I will visit them when i return to Paris again - o glad I found that you are now in Paris - I've taken your tours in Madrid & Barcelona - always found them to be fun, informative & a good value. Thx
Quelle visite intéressante de Paris ! J'y suis allée plusieurs fois, mais jamais dans ces endroits sympas que vous nous avez montrés ! Merci beaucoup, et santé!! ☺
Wow! Thanks! I will indeed be visiting several of these places. Especially the Onion Soup place....as it’s only 4 blocks fr where we’re staying..July 2020. Excellent video!
Amazing video. Jess is a sweetheart! I really enjoyed watching. I wish this video was made two years ago when I visited Paris. Amazing city and great people.
We were with Jess and James before they filmed this and were at most of these stops. It was maybe the best part of ten days in France. Not kidding. We could have spend the whole day with them! Considering a trip to Spain because of our experience. Jess and James need to come to the states to visit us in the Midwest!
I love you videos so much, I really hope you continue to expand your company and the cities that you offer food tours, Id love to see some in Belgium, and Germany as well. Good luck and I can't wait to visit France and Spain to tour with your company!
Ah, James! Perfect again! I was thinking of Paris and Dublin next year! You have helped me so much for my upcoming trip in September in Madrid. I am looking forward to the same intimate look at Paris. The croissant looks amazing!
I went to the “character of cochon” place today, I told him, “it’s my money it’s my taste” he was laughing all the way.. the sandwiches we had were definitely a great choice.
