I love your videos! I also grow a lot in pots so I've been experimenting with a lot of dwarf varieties. So far I've had little success with the Little Crunch Snap Pea although I got mine from Burpee seeds. Growing it in my Rise garden and it's barely grown past 4 inches in a month and the germination rate was really poor. My other peas are doing great though, especially the Rise patio peas and Sugar Ann. I've grown the cauliflower in my Rise as well and I have 2 3 tier family gardens and it takes up so much space and the head is incredibly small. I knew that going in but the space it takes up and the yield was just so low I decided not to grow it again inside. I might grow it in on my patio garden this fall though.
Amazing and thanks so much! I always like to hear that my videos are helpful. If you have any suggestions for future videos I’d love to hear any suggestions. For the cauliflower, I was planning on pruning the lower leaves in the hopes of keeping it under control! In terms of peas I really liked the Tom Thumb peas from Baker Creek too.
@@The_IndoorGardener yes I heard about the Tom Thumb! I think I might try that one next. I agree that trimming the outer leaves really helps on the cauliflower, I just have too much I want to grow in the Rise haha so I had to make sacrifices and the cauliflower was one lol.
@@kellyboothe8862 I hear ya. I’ll see how I feel after I give it a go. Not sure it’s something I would grow in winter when I need the rise garden to pump out food. I’m treating it as a summer experiment when the outdoor garden is giving loads of food 😉
Have you noticed that for tomatoes and eggplant, the days to maturity are not from the date of sowing the seeds? They mean days from transplant of the seedling.
@@The_IndoorGardener all things based on what you got! Little hero spinach, little crunch snap peas, sweetie baby romaine, garden babies butter heard, French mascotte bush beans. Thanks for the suggestions!
@@jeng1395 I’m cleaning out the Rise Garden today and putting in some of the “container” varieties I got as well as trying out the cauliflower baby from Rise.
I followed up with the company & they were aware of the error but was not able to fix the packet name since they ordered bulk packets. Sent me a packet of Beans I selected in place of the jacobs cattle bean.
