Thanks for a great video of the area. It is now added to my list to visit in the near future...warmer weather. I usually spend time in the San Juans and Moab, but now another Colorado park I need to visit and enjoy. Also, looking at your plant-based meals will have me wrecking the kitchen trying to eat healthy. Thanks again.

Super cool road to drive on. The snake is some sort of rattlesnake. Possibly a young Midget Faded Rattlesnake. Great footage and great information all throughout the video. Cheers!
It’s a fantastic drive… AND, I noticed, a scenic run. 😉 Couple runners, a lot of bikers the day we drove it. Thanks for the feedback - I’ll look up that rattlesnake type.
Great video! Quick question. Is Fruita to Grand Junction the safer way to drive the Rim Rock Trail or the opposite? Basically, which way/direction hugs the mountain side more than the cliff side?
Thank you for the feedback! Love it 🥰. Fruita to Grand Junction will put you on the inside lane, hugging the mountain, not the cliff sides. However, I will say that the videos can be deceiving - the road is quite substantial and very safe, you’re safe either way. Have fun!
Great video! I'm from the UK and have been inspired to cycle the roads around here (since I saw Kevin Costner in spandex.....nice) sometime soon. Do those snakes come out in the road and bite you in the butt or do they stay in the scrub?
Thanks! Na… that snake was a baby I saw on the trail. I needed a bit of drama. I doubt very much they’d come out and bite your ass. Unless you’re wearing some nice spandex. Then I Can’t guarantee anything. 🤣
@@PlantBasedJan Yeah I'll be wearing spandex so it looks like I'll be buggered Jan.... No dangerous creatures in the UK (apart from people from Liverpool) though my mates Gerbil went missing once and we were worried it would chew through an electric cable.
