Thankyou, once again you guys have shown me so many places to visit so close to home I didn’t even know existed, obviously I know Byron but those little gems such as the farm at the end, sooo cool.👏👏
Oh my gosh, yesssss! I've no doubt you'll love the farm - it was so beautiful wandering around and then the food at Three Blue Ducks was INSANE! We're already talking about driving down again just to eat there haha. Thanks for watching this one, love. Have a great week ahead. Phoebe xx

22 years ago nobody new about the bay, b4 the highway built , my man & I while living around Australia when people would asked us we’re we came from , say Byron nope , say Mullumbimbi nope so we say nimbin & most eyes would light up ohh nimbin 🙌🏽🙌🏽💯 so funny tht
Hahahahah yesss everyone knows Nimbin huh 😂🙌🏻 I love Mullum too! Got the chance to go to the music festival quite a few years ago and had the best time! Thanks for watching ♥️
@@travelforphoebe thanks it was a delightful vidio & I thought A+ as good as that show getaway ,u would get snapped up as 1 of there journalists any-day, if I was still living up the top end Qld & missing home ,it would’ve made me cry
Hey Phoebe , as always I thoroughly enjoyed every sec of the vlog. The kind of vlogs from you making me to visit QLD and explore every place from your bucketlist. Coming to the vlog is very informative and road trip was awesome .Lots of Love From India♥
hahahaha how cute is the pig?! Totally stole the show!! Thank you so much for watching, I'm so happy to hear some of the places we visited made it onto your next itinerary. Have a great week, Talia! Phoebe xx
Byron is definitely awesome, especially stopping off at Kingscliff. Loved the smaller towns and the markets. The Farm is awesome. We were lucky to actually talk to the farmers. They were so friendly and talked to us about what they were doing and processes. Again content was spot on. Mistake we did was parking at the bottom of the lighthouse and walking up in the middle of the morning. Definitely wasn’t prepared for it
Did you do the guided tour at The Farm? I'd love to do that next time, it sounds great :) hahaha yessss we've made the mistake of parking at the bottom of the lighthouse too - it's a mistake you only make once! Thank you so much for watching this one - P xx
@@travelforphoebe we didn't the guided tour. By the time we got there, all the tours were booked. We went exploring on our own, found that worked for us cause we spent more time on things we wanted to look at. We got lucky, 1 of the farmers gave us fresh produce plucked from the ground after we were talking to them for half hour. Yeah definitely a mistake we won't be repeating in walking from the bottom. Only one thing, need more Matt time. As a fellow bearded man, the beard needs more screen time, but short of that, great video as usual
hahaha yessss!! I agree!! We need more Matt time :) I do try to film him but he edits himself out! Your comment will go along way to helping me get him in front of the camera more - THANK YOU
Omg aren't you just the sweetest thing ever! Great channel discovery, I am a local (Brisbane) and love van trips and road trips, so will be watching all your videos for your recommendations :) thanks!
🥰 Thank you so much for the local love!! And for the getaway comment too - it means the world 😍🙌🏻 we’ll be doing some more road trips in 2021! Exciting!!
Thank you so much, Jackie!! So happy you got some travel inspo from this one :) Hope you get to visit soon! We're already talking about going back just to eat at some of the same spots again haha. P xx
hahaha it was mine too!! I couldn't wait to get to the NSW coast and eat all that good food. Byron has a unique way of kind of feeling like you're further away than you really are, for some reason. Gosh the food was amazing too!! Thanks for watching this one, Tony. Have a great week ahead - P xx
So many epic things to see and do in the Bay - I have to say though a scuba dive and Julian Rocks in good visibility is a firm fave though...well apart from the pumping surf 🤣🤙
That is NOT what I wanna hear 😂 I’m still so gutted our snorkel trip to the rocks was cancelled 😑 a good excuse to go back again tho! I’m super keen to try the intro dive ASAP! Thanks for watching 🙌🏻♥️
@@travelforphoebe any excuse to get back to Byron is a good one! To be honest if the visibility isn't spot o the snorkelling isn;t my fave option...you need to scuba and go meet the sharks face to face! If you head back soon get in touch - would be great to collab on a dive or surf edit with you guys 🤙
Byron Bay is a coastal town located on the far-north coast of NSW, Australia. Home to Australia's most easterly point and the iconic Cape Byron lighthouse, the region is known for its spectacular beaches, unique shopping and dining experiences, world-class festivals, and vibrant community spirit.
Hey guys! We've only recently discovered your channel and we love it!! Such amazing promotion for QLD :) Have you considered doing an episode on North Straddie? Would love to see an episode on Straddie 😍
Normally we don't spend too long at the beach (terrified of sunburn!) But we spent ages lazing around on them this trip, they were really gorgeous and the water was the perfect temperature too :) Thanks for watching this one! Have a great week ahead - P xx
I'm just loving your videos. The presentation, information and the quality is so engaging. Love your hat Phoebe! I'd be very interested to know if there is one available for men? I'm currently in Sydney.
Oh thank you so so much 😍🙌🏻 it really means the world! The hat is an Akubra and it’s the Coober Pedy. They aren’t gender specific so the hat I’m wearing is for anyone! Matt actually chose the one I wear and I stole it off him haha
Great video guys ! Really enjoyed it. ❤👍🏼. How do you always find the nicest eating spots lol... Food always looks super delicious. Looking forward to the next video👀 I guess that little piglet stole the show at the end of the video 🙂🐷 Take care
hahahaha I have this theory that life is too short to waste on a bad meal so I spend ages getting recommendations from people and researching/cyber-stalking all the spots we eat! It pays off though! Some of the best meals of 2020 went down on this trip - Foxy Luu's, Yulli's and Three Blue Ducks were definite highlights for me :) Yesssss how cute is the piglet?! Have a great week, Solomon. P xx
I booked my first byron bay trip a week ago and ive been looking for tips everything I should see. This is very helpful and let me say I enjoy watching your content so much!! To more adventures 💕
haha oh my gosh! How good is the timing?! We had the best time in Byron and on the road trip too - some of my favourite meals of 2020 happened in Byron! Foxy Luu's, Yulli's and Three Blue Ducks were huge highlights for me :) I hope you have an amazing time on your trip and thank you so much for watching and for the lovely comment. P xx
@@travelforphoebe Yes, perfect timing!! I've heard great reviews on Foxy Luu's and Three Blue Ducks so im definitely trying those. Hope you get to travel more around Australia so I get more inspiration on where to go next 🥰
DO NOT tag me in your food photos when you visit or I'll be very jealous :P hehe! Yesss! Actually, we're looking into some more road trip stuff around Australia for early next year - I'm pretty excited about it! P x
P & M, this video is a masterpiece ! I thought Byron Bay was all about Astronomical house prices, dole queues, marijuana and the lighthouse, but there's a lot more on offer !
bahahahahhaha oh my gosh! Yessss, it definitely has more to offer. Some of my favourite meals of 2020 actually happened on this trip, which I wasn't expecting. I thought maybe the restaurants would be a bit over-hyped but we really didn't have a bad meal the whole time we were there. Thanks for the love on this one, WK. - P xx
No you hit the nail right on the head lovely .. especially the astronomical prices and the drug capital of Australia, only for the last 20 years since they built stupid highway , driving us out of town .. my kids fifth-generation dad side , we can’t even live the place their ancestors were founding families I guess it’s made some of us rich selling our homes .. The same thing happened in Karanda up near Cairns , and on the Gold Coast, millionaires row ..
I love the coastal areas and the room tours you're doing! There no such thing as too much Mexican food. I love the food from Latin America as well as Asia. Surprisingly the European food is kind of boring, same goes for the USA food. I've seen lots of Bondi Rescue episodes and indeed, when the current is strong, you'd better be out! I was surprised I didn't get sunburnt in Melbourne with 46 degrees, but I did get sunburnt in Tassie when it was just 17 degrees and cloudy. I feel silly, at 17:48 I was looking outside if I could see the bird I heard, but it turned out it was the video playing. Is it true there's more Europeans than Aussie people in Byron Bay? Anyhow, great video, thanks for sharing and have a great week!
I'm hoping we can do a lot more coastal areas next year too and it's looking likely the NZ/AU travel bubble will happen! WOOHOO! hahaha yessss Bondi Rescue always shocks me into swimming more safely too. It should be mandatory in-flight watching for all visitors hehe. That's a good question about Europeans in Byron Bay... I'm not sure. Our visit was oddly timed for 'Schoolies,' which is the high-school graduation celebrations so it was packed with young-uns haha Thanks for watching!! We've got one more Gold Coast video coming next week ;) P x
This was shot two weeks ago 🙌🏻 haha the whole east coast is being hammered! It’s been pouring rain non stop where we live too (a couple of hours from Byron!)
ooooooh! Interesting!! I'd love to hear why? :) Tea Tree Bay is very special! I'm not sure which one I prefer... Noosa or Byron! They both have their selling points for me. Thanks so much for watching this one - have a great end to the week. Phoebe xx
Hey Phoebe! Thank you so much for covering Petcloud on your blog - we are so honoured to make the list and it was a lovely surprise. If we can help you out with a Pet Sitter next time when you travel, please give us a shout ~ from the PetCloud Team ❤️
Hi! We use two Sony cameras, a dji osmo and other kit too. This blog post shares all the gear we use and why if you’re after more detail: littlegreybox.net/2019/08/20/heres-our-current-travel-camera-kit-for-photography-and-videography/
Wow! I love the way you talk in front of the camera, very natural! Beautiful vlog over all 👏🏻 . We were at Byron Bay last week for 3 days, I just wish we had more time. When you get a chance would you give feedback on my new video? I would be very happy 😀 Have a Happy New Year!
