Art this question is for you, How did you get a tourist visa? I'm trying to get someone out here from Africa and I need to know how did you get your tourist visa to come to the US? As a 56 year old woman with a leg injury who has been (very, very very) close to being scammed, I can not thank you enough. I almost lost thousands of dollars and probably would have if I could drive or remember how to get into my on line banking! I didn't believe them initially but when they said they were the RCMP I almost crumbled, as most tax paying, honest people will do in the face of authority. I felt so stupid when I told my husband but I was crying. It was really, really horrible and I can't thank you enough for doing this back to them. This is very personal to me! Again, many thanks and great for a laugh, too! I posted this in the comments too but wanted you to know how appreciative and delighted I am with your work! It was a really scary day for me but at least I know now...

I got scammed by a credit card scammer in 2013, that I didnt realise until 2 years later, I lost over a thousand dollars, I thought they were the real deal and that I must have used a credit card that i forgot to close and asked them to close it, they gave me the bullshit that it was over 2500 dollars but they could close it for a thousand if i could pay immediately and I did.

Western union demands the clerk asks if it's for a telemarketer because of the scams to people.

Specifically western union asks if this money is being sent because of any telephone or mail or solicitors of any kind.

Being a former store manager, i along with my employees always politely questioned anyone purchasing multiples of itunes cards or similar...many of them were young people and elderly - they just arent aware...love Ashton and Art and what they are doing and stand for and hope more people become aware of what these scammers are really doing...not just IRS and computer scammers but like Craigslist scammers- just in the past two years having moved about 5 times - even though i dont trust most listings on craigslist i checked anyway, several scam listings...but now im looking to move again - possibly back up north and any scam listings i come across i will be forwarding to these guys....go with your gut, if it sounds too good- it probably is

Patshhi4 My parents are in their 90’s and they get called EVERY single day. I have heard every single story from these Decrepit Indians and I have also heard their foul disgusting mouths when they figure out that you are on to the scam.

Donna Duncan I’m sorry to hear that Donna. Unfortunately scammers don’t care about the people they call. I got rid of my land line because of them. Now when they call my cell I immediately hang up and block that number. Sometimes it helps, sometimes they call on a different number. Your parents, like mine had, probably have a land line. Perhaps they could get an answering machine, and have the machine pick up the call first. If it’s someone they know they can then pick up. I did find out it doesn’t help to get another phone number. The scammers use these programs that automatically start calling numbers, like 1234567, then 1234568. When someone picks up, the scammer gets on the phone. If you or someone is able to, check your parents credit, debit cards and checking account statements. A friend’s dad was giving out his credit card to scammers and was too embarrassed to tell my friend. It turned out he was just happy to have someone to talk to and the scammers took advantage of that. His wife had died, all his friends had died or moved. Luckily my friend decided after that to move in with his dad. His dad was a lot happier after that. Good luck. If I think of anything I’ll let you know. Pat
