We're in Langdale, one of the pretty and very rugged areas of the Lake District. Jack's Rake is a grade 1 scramble which is deservedly popular, but Langdale is the home of many great climbs, and world class hiking.
That was a treat seeing the kestrel hovering there for the camera! A lovely day out there Sue, for me as a southerner it's easy to forget we have places like this in England!
You did well to cross the tarn outfall Sue. We had to go up the right hand side of the ghyll because of the amount of water running out of it!! Nice footage of the kessie, they're a beautiful bird. TTFN
That looked a cool line Sue (but wet mind but no bother for you two 🙌🙌) and what a rewarding sight of the kestrel (a fine fine day 🤠🙏🏼🏔️ Best regards Simon 🤠👍
@@FIVE-FOOTLyth there needs to be a balance , predatory birds are very good at what they do . Part of the apex , and we are the apex for them . In Ireland there is less shooting of them over the past decade and their numbers have increased greatly , a beautiful sight to see and hear .
