Wolf Rock is a set of four volcanic pinnacles located next to the iconic Rainbow Beach at Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Just 3h drive from Brisbane will get you to this must-visit dive destination. Wolf Rock is considered by the Queensland Government to be Queensland's most important habitat area for the critically endangered grey nurse shark (also known as sand tiger or rugged tooth sharks). It is a mating area and a site of gestational gathering, where high number of pregnant females can be seen. This is also the only place in Queensland where you can dive with these magnificent sharks year round. Swimming with these large Sharks is something that happens on every dive at Wolf Rock. The consistency of these sightings is 100% reliable.
Wolf Rock is one of the most exciting dives in Australia and will perhaps be one of the most exciting dives you ever do.
