I think mini black hole doesn't always seem to proc because when it activates to steal an item you already have the max number of it can't steal that and doesn't display the normal activation text. So if you have max of every berry it's pretty low odds of getting the damage item, lucky egg, or specific single berry you want off of the opponent and might seem like it rarely does anything. You can't steal vitamins but definitely can steal held items, I maxed my groudon soft sand and hard stone at wave 1400 by farming enemies

I’m hoping to find Hoopa, whether it’s shiny or not, cause Magician + Opportunist sounds like a lot of fun to use. I took some of your advice and I’ve been holding onto a Garganacl for a long while now cause the game doesn’t want to give me a Metal Burst Pokémon. I did manage to catch my absolute number 1 favorite Pokémon, Meloetta, but I’m not sure the best way to utilize her for an endless run. I know her passive is Mind’s Eye, so it got me thinking if you can get Punk Rock and Boomburst on her, she can be quite a strong Pokémon I think.

For double battles, I would give Dugtrio max multi lenses and king’s rocks, and give him Rock Slide for a very high chance for double flinching.
