I have a recommendation on what you can do when you are presenting the armies. While you are presenting the armies you can show numbers of how many men and cavalry and onagers are in each army instead of having a hard time saying what each unit name is

But it is ridiculous to see the armor they wear, I'm pretty sure that is not what Han-Chinese wore at the period of Mongol invasion...(Song Dynasty).. It looks more like Han dynasty.. 202 BC- 220 AC.... During the Mongol invasion, Chinese Song dynasty's army was mainly very heavy infantry, crossbow men and early firearms and grenades(the armor the chinese wore called Bu Ren Jia 步人甲, literally means Infantry armor, the weight of different type of the armor also has it standard: Heavy melee infantry's armor weigh 29.8kg, heavy spearmen's armor weigh 32-35kg, and archers, crossbowmen and weapon crew's armor weigh 22-27kg)..In this case you would see actually chinese crossbowmen or siege weapon crew often wear a kind of hat with big brim called Fan Yang Li(范阳笠), and wear long lamellar armor covers not only upper body, but also lower body, and usually they will also wear a short sleeve shirt covers their upper body.. And also, if the soldier were from north china which it was the Jurchen Jin(金) Dynasty, the hairstyle of Jurchen would not be like the model in the games.. And the jurchen Army were consist of mainly (somehow european or mamluk like)very heavy cavalry armed with mace, heavy lances.. The Chinese at that time called their calvary "Tie Fu Tu 铁浮图/浮屠" literaly means "Iron tower". Jurchen Jin's infantry consist of mainly conscripts of former Han territory, since the Han Chinese were forced to join the Jurchen Jin Army, they didn't wear any armor nor they could afford one....

I've just installed this mod, but I ran intona few problem I need some help with: 1. When I start a singleplayer battle there aren't any names for factions or units 2. The game constantly crashes mid-battle does anyone know what I did wrong during the installation? I used the steam version and the workshop tyvm in advance

Man, those weaponless soldiers that Apollo mentioned... the "Kharash". It's not a glitch or invisible swords. I was curious like you so I looked them up. Apparently Kharash (those weaponless peasants we saw in the first charges) are the troops and peasants captured in previous battles and conquests and were used to waste the enemies energy and arrows. TL;DR: Those weaponless dudes are body-shields.

I don’t say this very often but the defending team in my opinion put up a perfect defensive strategy. I liked how the defense held on to key positions in the city, good map awareness, good cav. Play with the horse archers that distracted the enemy cav. for most of the fight. Also good use of the defensive archers hitting key units. I also noticed that the players on defense always gave themselves room for error and made sure that they could counter anything their opponents threw at them. I feel the attackers should have brought something other than the rocket pods and should have prioritized taking out those arrow towers because the arrow towers absolutely chewed up a lot of their units. Perfect defense and it’s probably how I would have went about defending.

Maybe the fight would of gone a little different of the arrow towers didn't fire like a main with a repeating rifle and aim bot activated.

Lol the irony being that in reality this battle was a total cake walk and complete slaughter on the part of the Mongols. I wouldn't even call it a battle. Like 6,000 Arab cav sallied out and were massacred. Then the nobles came out and begged for life and were slaughtered and had their corpses catapulted into the city. Then the walls came down and they straight up erased the population of Baghdad. The only survivors were the slaves they took lol
