Nice, my best find was when I picked up around 50$ in customer wrapped dimes from the banks I I got 56 silver roosies and 21 mercs. Congrats on your find!
While watching this video, it dawned on me... This years "coin shortage" has been bittersweet. With a lot of people hurting for cash this year, a lot of people are dumping their old change back into the bank. A lot of people didn't know what they had, but it made the wait for a lot of coin roll hunters worth it.
I know... sadly, it is a true statement. Hopefully, with videos that us coin roll hunters share (along with the silver stacking community) people can be educated and learn the real value of some of their coins. It'll hurt the hunts, but put more money in more people's pockets.

The greedy side of me wants all the silver and old coins that I can find, but I always try to explain to people what they have if I notice they're in possession of something worth holding on to. About a month ago, a woman sold me 3 Norman Rockwell coin sets from 1974. It included 14 silver pieces including a Morgan dollar, Benji half, Walking Liberty, a Barber dime, and numerous others...all in fantastic shape. 4 silver war nickels, 3 buffalos, an IHP, and some wheaties in a condition I've never seen in person... She wanted $60 for everything. I tried explaining what she had, and she just said she'd rather have the cash bc those were no good to her. In cases like that, it's hard to argue.
@@toolshed0513 I have a ten pound bar of coin silver valued at about $4k, but unfortunately it's not something you can use for a purchase. It's nice to look at, and I used it for a doorstop, but it has no purchasing power. Banks don't take bullion. You have to take it an assessment broker, who have to make a profit, so you will never get spot value for your bullion content.
I agree with William finds pennies unfortunately there are a lot of people struggling right now that box or half of it could be the difference in a family eating for a couple days or paying part of a bill if I were in their shoes I’d be glad to know it went to someone who will appreciate them and or pass them along to others who do instead of being locked away in a cold dark corner somewhere
@@williamfindspeople4341 that makes no sens, why would they trade 90% silver into a bank, fully knowing what it is? it makes no logical sense no matter how you look at it.
AMAZING box - I would freak for such finds. Not to mention $3 FV for $3 - Had a lot of fun watching this - I was just as excited as you. Well deserved!!!!!
