To be honest, I usually love these Sahakian videos but this Shary chap is a bit.... I dunno. I don't want to be mean or unfair online but there seemed to be a lot of red flags there. Interrupting, constantly making basic comments about watches at every opportunity, shooting smoke rings like it's no tomorrow etc etc. For what it's worth (not much as I'm just a viewer) but he ruined the vibe.
Agreed, should've been just Kirby and Sharyn for the video, leave the amazing Sahakians videos to just them. Kills me as I was craving a video of them and was excited when this one popped up only to be disappointed. He has as a bit of main character syndrome
I enjoy watching you Kirby; and I have been doing so since 2019, but that new 'guest' was quite frankly annoying. He kept interrupting everybody in the room, smoked his own cigar and enjoyed the sound of his voice and his voice alone! No manners whatsoever ... for a 'guest' ...
Eddie: I have this lighter and it... Shary: Lighters are a lot like watches. Eddie: Would you gentlemen like to see... Shary: Watches are things that can be seen too. Everyone: ..... Shary: Watches.
worst person I've ever seen, why Kirby invited him to meet such beautiful persons as the Sahakians I'll never know ! Sahakians are just very kind and humble persons,if I'll visit london someday I'm gonna definitely go see them,a huge salute to them !
Man knows how to dress, l dig those wingtips styling🧐 *I caught Dad, he almost lit the band on the foot of the Cigar, love these videos always learn something new on Cuban cigars. Thank You Gentleman.
Cool video, but why is the man wearing the glasses acting weird? First he didnt smoke the cigar offered to him, then he showed his cigar off to the person who gave him one from his collection (which I am assuming is rare), I would have just offered him as a return gift if I were there (well, that also varies person to person, but a common etiquette). And he kept on interrupting everyone to somewhat display his knowledge of watches, speaking over them even. That guy needs to relax, quite obnoxious he ruined the atmosphere of the video.
Huge miss by Sharry to not offer his cigar to Eddie after they discussed he had never smoked one before. Also, classless to smoke your own Padron instead of the cigar being offered by company. Very disappointing amongst such esteemed gentlemen.
Watch expert wears metal bracelet on the same wrist with watch 🤦♂️ Also what a chance he had to do beautiful gesture by offering his cigar 💨 as a gift 🙃
Agreed. I'm a little confused too. He speaks very strangely about watches. I also have a few doubts about that Reverso. The London engraving on his looks exactly like like the DHgate lasered versions Vs the distinctly hand-engraved JLC originals. It's hard to tell, but it is extremely odd to bash a £15,000 limited edition watch with a bracelet.
Shary could have offered his cigar as a gift to sahakian since he never smoked that regional , and he was very rude interrupting all the time . Blowing smoke ring towards sahakian was rude in my opinion as well. If I’m not mistaken , he also did not smoke the same cigar as the others ! He took it home lol . Terrible addition to such fine company.
Everything about him is ever so slightly off. Wearing a metal bracket against a highly limited edition watch isn't something any collector would ever do.
@@thesaint8400 agreed!, As someone who has a very similar Reverso this made me cringe. It has a super highly polished case and it would have to be scratching it.
Yeah somthing seemed very disingenuous with him but I can't put my finger on it. I absolutely love these videos with the Sahakians and crave more of them but this video doesn't seem quite right. It should've been just Kirby and Sharyn. Poor Edward never really got a word in.
I do love Kirby and the Sahakians, I hope to one day go to the Davidoff shop and meet them! 12:43 One thing I did notice is that when Shary pulled out his cigar case and looked at his cigar, I understand he was only double checking but after asking Eddie about the strength, as he was explaining it seemed as though if he just completely ignored him and then looked at his cigar. Eddie being the gentleman he is, it seemed as though he did not care, or at very least did not mind. On the other hand when Kirby looked at him he almost looked like he gave Shary the "really man?" look. And then her went on to interrupt conversation as well as not even smoke the cigar Eddie was most excited to just carefully handover as he's very proud of his rare cigar collection. I personally believe that a cigar gifted is a cigar smoked. Kind of long but I wanted to see if anybody else noticed.
@@cdula26Perhaps you are miss construing these comments. They are commenting about how nice it is to see people treating each other in a dignified classy way. That’s why we are watching.
this guy Shary lacks manners. instead of listening, he waits to speak. At some points he couldn't even do that and would interrupt Kirby or the Sahakians.
Shary talked over people constantly. To the point, you could see irritation from the other parties. Then proceeds to be given a very special cigar, smokes his own he brought, then pull out a limited edition and gloats about it but does not offer it after being treated as a guest in the lounge. Poor manners and hopefully will not be featured on the channel again.
Nothing more lovely than conversations [and cigars] like this . Proper manners, proper etiquette, a thing generally lost in this days. And there is nothing more lovely than wearing a suit and behaving like a gentleman!
This is like watching a master chef show where they prepare dishes and eat them in front of you. Torture to watch but you can't stop watching bc the Sahakians are straight up OGs
Ok super nice guy, But definitely too much me me and my watches. I love it when Edward and Eddie, just sit and talk. Those 2 gentlemen is the definition of elegance and regal.
Shary didn’t allow me to make it through this clip - he is boring and lacks depth (yet surprisingly attempts to be pedantic). He also lacks basic manners. Will tune in for the next episode without his presence.
That watch dude kept the cigar they offered him and brought out his own that’s kinda rude and he also cuts peoples sentences off a lot he needs to learn some manners
Although I will probably get into cigar smoking, I really enjoy watching gentlemen having a relax and meaningful conversation such as this one. At 54 years old, I am becoming more aware of men's clothing and accessories. And want to dress more appropriately for a man of my age. Also, want to buy pieces of clothing and watches that I can attach meaning to them. I am not near the level of sophistication of the gentlemen, nevertheless I am in the way to improve the way I am presenting myself to others.
As always, it is lovely to take a back seat observation of Eddie and Edward’s gentle humility and patience - I only wish that they could spend more time building their own channel…….
He's a bit like a woman because he matched the green dial of the watch with the green ring, green cufflinks, green pocket square and then he couldn't leave the blue stripes go unmatched, so he added a bunch of blue bracelets. But somehow I like it. He's like a Jack Sparrow of the sartorial world.
@@kirbyallison Kirby, I'm always one for respecting your guests. I almost felt like he was flaunting what he had. Not to ignore the fact he was constantly interrupting you and the Sahakians. Hes self centred and Arrogant.
Very poor etiquette by shary to not smoke what was gifted to him and to not share what he brought. Also, you can tell Kirby get surprised by it in minute 12:44 of the video.
Sharry: i don't get money from the watches, it's About being a Collector and a Hobby and my Passion !! Gentleman Eddie: You sell those watches you collect ? Sharry: Yeah !! i do it all the Time !!
Great vid. My wife and I were married in 1977 and instead of an engagement ring, I bought us matching Rolex Datejusts from Mills Jewelers on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. We wore them together for many years. Our wedding bands were made from pounded Indian silver in Albuquerque NM.
Not a single cell phone or TV or even a radio insight / turned on. Just honest talk. I miss it. I have been sick with a cold and it's been very cold here in Ohio. Might have to return to the brick and mortar store when I get better and conversate with the people working and or the customers. Once again, best of health and great video. Hope everyone has a great holiday(s).
Your videos with the Sahakians are just delicious,I could watch 2 or 3 hours video without getting dull, but your guest in this video is the baddest person I've ever seen,Mr.Eddie god bless him offered him a 120 dollars cigar and he put it on the table and lighted another one from his cigar case, pure disrespect, please next time Mr.Kirby try to pay attention to your selection of guests because Sahakians are just one of the nicest persons I've ever seen;humble, kind and very generous and I adore your conversations with them, please say hi to them, and tell them many greetings from Morocco !
Don’t be too quick to judgement here. Shary graciously declined the cigar BECAUSE we had asked him to entertain us by blowing smoke rings. The Padron cigar he smoked is the best for this. And he specifically said at the beginning of the video he was declining the cigar only because the padron is best for smoke rings.
@@kirbyallison the cigar is just a trivial incident, this man is unlikable, sorry if he is your friend, but the sahakians are humble and decent people,so please next time bring someone who want to enjoy their company without playing the expert, every answer he starts it with "you can't this" "you can't that" "watches are not like cigars" and in the same time "watches are like cigars and every collectible thing" which is then? please Mr.Kirby when respect you and I'm not here to give you lessons, you know better than this, and please accept my apologies if you don't like my comment,I'm only interested in keeping the originality and spontaneity of your videos, have a nice evening !
@@naddamhoussam8705 I agree with you. He was constantly interrupting the other guests and he was awful to listen to. I hope to visit Morocco some day. I hear it's a beautiful country and great people!
@@SeaJayBelfast You're more than welcome my friend, you're gonna love it,a very unique experience,a mix of oriental and occidental vibes with an african touch !
Dear Kirby, I always appreciate your videos, specially about cigars at Davidoff, London, but this one with such a great watch content is just the summit. Thank you !
Multiple times Shary comes across rude. I let him off with his initial rudeness of talking over the current speaker at 14:03.. but then multiples times thereafter he does it again. I also cringed at him lighting his cigar mid sentence at 15:55, creating an awkward silence and making everyone wait until he finished lighting his cigar.. Very odd! The Sahakians and Kirby are very graceful and patient when each other are speaking, which makes Shary's antics stand out even more. 28:44 another episode of Edward Sahakian being interrupted/talked over by Shary. 29:52 - by this point the smoke ring 'jaw movement' has gotten really inappropriate in this setting, and he reminds me of an 18 year old who just learnt to smoke. I understand Kirby may have wanted a 'smoke ring' titled video, but this just looks ridiculous in such good company. I think Shary wants it to be the Shary show.. but unfortunately rude people don't tend to have popular shows!
I’m new to the cigar world, it’s helping craft me into the proper man I desire to be in my early fourties. One of my most special things to enjoy is watching the Sahakians , along with Kirby. What a special treat. Please bring more of this content. Kirby, you are a blessing to us all. God bless.
I'm far from knowing what's right and what's wrong, but is it considered rude that Shary lit a different cigar than the one Eddie had given him? If so/not then how come? Thanks!
Yes it is rude except they agreed on doing that beforehand for the sake of filming the smoke rings. Otherwise it's like someone offering you a glass of a very expensive bottle of Bordeaux and you pull out a flask of your own wine from your jacket and start drinking it infront lf the host.
Those smoke rings are the most ridiculous things I have ever seen... How much for lessons..? I need that skill in my life. Also, I am Soooo glad I am not the only one in this world who gloves up to touch precious things. I have been criticised so often for wearing gloves whilst playing with my rare books.
I have always had misgivings about ’conspicuous consumption’, because it is often coupled with arrogance. But, when people have a true appreciation of art and artistry, they get ’a free pass’ from me. These gentlemen know ’value’ as opposed to ’the price’ and their appreciation is coupled with humility.
Kirby! I am excitedly happy to say that my first Holiday Party in Vegas went astoundingly well, being adorned in accoutrement befitting the well dressed; from my Sovereign Grade Grossa Burgundy Tie, beautifully polished Allen Edmond shoes, and, more importantly, the desire to conduct myself in a more eloquent fashion. Thanks to your channel, I have been able to travel a clear path to becoming better dressed, in the detail of a modern gentlemen, and I could not have been more proud of how my appearance and conduct have successfully made a wonderful and memorable impact on my new company. Truly, thank you for providing such rich and directive content for helping the modern man be well dressed and engage in meaningful, fruitful conversation. I would be remiss to say that I was shocked to see the difference in how I was received and respected! 🎉🙌
I agree. Nothing can beat the pure sophistication and elegance of Vegas, my friend. Mr Sahakian and co. would very much feel at home on the Strip. Between the Eiffel Tower and Caeser's palace, there's a delicate balance of European and American classic heritage there which I personally can't get enough of (and I bet the Sahakians are the same!). If we cross paths, I'll be sure to tip my hat to you, sir.
Kirby I live in Dallas, Preston hollow to be exact. And I find myself watching these cigar sit downs 4 or more times over. It’s a gift to listen to these gentlemen from across the pond. Hope to see you and meet the sahakians one day! Maybe a meet up in Dallas for subscribers for a smoke and Q&A would be neat?
This Shary guy shouldn't have had this experience.. New to cigars and these videos, but he didn't smoke the cigar offered, or even offered that cigar to Eddie after he said he never had smoked one? :(
'watch expert' spends 2 min (painful to watch) to light the cigar like everyone else with a soft flame, only to completely destroy the cigar experience at 16.00 (kirby Allison looked horrified hence he changed the tempo) by lighting up like a cheap cerut one buys on a train platform in calcutta for 10 rupees. (camera man has a diabolical sense of humor)
thanks for these videos. I turned up at my local cigar lounge in latin america, and found great company and a new hobby, which I think is one of the smallest vices possible, and having had many vices in the past, I really needed what I think is the least harmful...! I'm now getting through all the Cuban varieties I can find before my next visit to London when I look forward to coming here and trying the Davidoff collection
