It is a nice song isn't it. I'm really glad you all like it so much and I'm glad that Rakshael liked it enough to host it here on RU-vid. I love all the feedback and creative thoughts given on this piece. It gives me the encouragement to keep working hard so I can continue delivering great remixes to you all. Thanks again guys.

Began to rain outside my house, right in the middle of the song. No kidding.

Maybe it's been 10 years since this was posted and I've just found it now, but a good song never gets old especially if we're talking about Zelda I've known the game for a long time if I'm not mistaken but never played it or seen much about it but I don't regret looking for more about it, a great story and fantastic music

i used to listen to this all the time when i was 12-13 years old, and i remember thinking it was the coolest thing ever. it inspired me so much to make my own music, and today, 11 years later, i'm a professional audio engineer and composer who remixes Zelda music :) thanks for keeping this video up after all of these years, it brought back a lot of good memories.

Anyone else think they should do a Zelda game based on the Song of Storms?

The funny thing is, when I play this on my piano a certain way it almost always rains within 2 days

If I go to a big orchestral concert, I would like to hear this music be played live.

I had a dream and I saw a Zelda War. It was so cool but my dream was like a trailer though X3. The beginning of the song had a horn blowing signaling the start of the war then after that scene it went to Link. It showed him doing like some training with an old sword master with a white long beard for the war I think.Then it showed like a ton of enemies from the link franchise and some others that I'm not completely sure where I got the idea from.The it panned to the other side of the battle field with a whole ton of soldiers with horses and armor and stuff with Zelda on a white dragon in the sky, while she had her bow.Then after that, it showed the two armies clashing with Zelda's dragon fighting Demise on a black dragon above the battle field, in stormy skies with lightning and thunder. Then Zelda's dragon got stabbed and she fell down but Link caught her mid air. Then Link put her down and unsheathed his blade and held it in front of his face while pebbles shook around him. Then it showed his sword charge up with a pure white energy that covered the blade and the handle reveal some parts that made it look super epic. Then he did a spin attack sent a huge shockwave of light burst out and only destroy the goblins. Demise pulled out his own sword too and charged at Link, on his dragon. The last part of the scene shpwed Link ready himself for the strike. Then it showed Link actually saying something."My job as a hero never changes and will always be about protecting the innocent.Not to risk their lives."Then it panned out at him standing at a cliff looking down at his home town, then walking away. So yeah I just woke up from a nap and immediately saw this and wrote down this.That is why I remember so much X)

This is probably the best reorchestration I've heard of this song. The rumbling percussion is so fitting for a song such as this.

wow I listened to this 4 years ago and somehow I got back and its still the best arrangement of song of storms I've heard to date.

I would totally play this while a storm rages.

The Song made me remeber the old days of Bewolf, the Epic , tragic fall , of Othello , the time of wars , black , evil ; However , a sense of relief came to me that the World will be ok.

Any other would be intimidated by his giant sword, resting with the tip at his feet. His nemesis grinned with arrogance and raised his sword above his head, the wind howling to the hero’s end. But the hero still smiled. With a speed as fast as lightening, he pulled a blue, shining ocarina, pure as a god, clean as a goddess. He raised it to his lips. And Link blew six notes into the instrument... The song of storms sounded sharp through the world as the universe fell silent. I just felt like it. sorry, i had too. read it best with the music XD oh well, i just wanted to. also, sorry for any mistakes i made along the way, i was very enthusiastic. :P

Everytime I listen on this song, I open a new tab with rain and thunder sounds. The combination just makes my heartbeat go harder. Rain and Thunder Sounds 10 Hours

There's really a certain epicness that is obtained by using brass over woodwinds. I think that's where this stands out from other remakes. Great job!

Who is is getting flashbacks to skyward sword when your in the sky? It's sounds like that at the beginning

i wish that whenever it rained this song would play ominously from nowhere for everyone under the rain to hear. i live in newfoundland so we would be hearing this song almost 24/7

Epic. I am adding this to an animation of my titled Zelda Birth of a Hero, in the last few Episodes when Old Link dies fighting in the Last Hyrulian War, and then is resurrected for the battle with Ganon, and lives on until he dies of age.

This songs got the intensity and feeling that it will make a day after tomorrow type superstorm. The normal song of storms song feels to make a thunderstorm or MABEY a tornado. This is an orchestra thing. More people makes more power.

Awesome remix of my favorite song from the best game in existence. NINTENDO NEEDS TO MAKE A FULL VERSION WITH THE FULL ICE TEMPLE, LIGHT TEMPLE, WIND TEMPLE AND WHATEVER THE UNICORN TEMPLE IS. Seriously, they have had 13 years and all they've done is Master Quest twice... but once backwards. I want new dungeons and more hyrule.

I know how the Great Flood of Hyrule happened, in Windwaker, but this has got me thinking of another theory that could have been suggested. Maybe Ganondorf transformed Hyrule into a blighted desert, while Child Majora Link was busy in Termina. Maybe Link didn't go straight back to Hyrule after 3 days in Termina. Maybe he went out to explore new lands and grew up naturally. Meanwhile in Hyruel, everything and everyone would start dying out, due to the lack of water. Upon his return to Hyrule, Link could play the song of storms, but maybe something would cause it to be a bit too powerful this time, flooding Hyrule. With no way to stop the flood, Adult Majora Link (Not Fierce Deity, a grown up Majora Link that we never actually see) drowns, leaving the fate of Hyrule in the hands of Windwaker Link.

i use to think about a zelda game in my dreams about majora's mask somehow reappearing and cursing link to be a skullkid, the instrument would be the flute and this was the new song of storms for the game in my dreams XD

This is beyond epic. It sounds like something you'd hear in a Soul Calibur match. If Link gets into another SC game they should use this for his music.
