My favorite part of monster is when Odysseus says “I’m the monster rawr rawr rawr”. Gigi’s animatic showed that scene really well.

Not so fun fact, when the souls in the Underworld are singing, the souls are singing their final thoughts, Polites still wants Odysseus to greet the world with Open Arms, Odysseys’s mom was waiting for him, and the Crew was blaming Odysseus

“And if I’ve got to drop another infant off a wall so we all don’t die” Chills man

just confirming as well that the visions are young odysseus and young penelope

If it makes it worse or better... in some verses, Odysseus' mom passed away from a heavy heart (which means she had taken her own life). Because at this point of the journey, he's been gone for a looong time, everyone believed him to be dead and it was hard not to think so.

Hey bad, im a massive fan of the epic the musical series and im so glad your reacting to it! And honestly i find so relatable to my reaction cause i was just to busy absolutely vibing and loving the music to actually talk during it, but you did pretty much skip all the way to the end so if you wanna watch everything in the beginning watch "the horse and the infant" as the that's the first song in the series, and if you don't wanna bother looking i have a Playlist of the songs public on my Playlist section if you want.
