I really recommend the animatics (fanmade stuff, not full animations but drawn/animated) for this. they are INCREDIBLE. (they also help with fully understanding what's happening) . also. funfact during these songs. every vocal you hear is diegetic (comes from in world of the story). meaning, any vocals sung by people, are the characters singing. eg, Odysseus (the main character) has background vocals who respond to him. those are his soldiers singing. UNLESS, a god is singing, when a god sings, they can just summon forth background singers to their parts. without needing other vocalists being there. the gods being so powerful, they don't obey the "realistic" rules of the world. also, every god has a unique instrument for them.
I don’t get RU-vid’s algorithm. I’ve been searching for Epic the musical reactions everyday for the last ten days, scrolling down till the videos have nothing to do with my search anymore; I just found this video today!
Welcome to the epic musical journey this is written by Jorge Rivera he is the voice of Odysseus. Watch fan made animatics it gives more of a story of what is going on. This is based off the Odyssey
OMG YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE HOW HAPPY I AM THAT Y'ALL ACTUALLY ARE DOING MY REQUEST THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH! ❤❤❤❤ Ps. So excited for the rest of the musical ✨✨✨ ANOTHER edit: So this musical isnt official yet so you were correct with that. Epic is based off of a story/poem called 'The Odyssey' and the main character is the main person you hear in the song his name is Odysseus. And the deeper voice you hear in the video is Zeus the god of thunder.
Epic is my favorite musical, even if not fully finished yet. The animatics will help with the story. My real on stage musicals I've seen are Les miss, heathers and Jesus Christ superstar. My fav musical I've not seen live but local theater is hoping to get it soon (they have to add more seats for it to come) is phantom. A great underappreciated musical is SpongeBob squarepants (honestly the music rocks). Musicals I've already booked for next year to see local are book of Mormon and Chicago. My daughter attends a full time performing arts college (she is 17) next school year we start auditions for the big musical theatre schools in London ect. (I sound bias but she is amazing, her tutor has said she will make it as she has the talent, she has two private singing lessons one once a week and he has unlocked her vocal range, the other once a month with the lad who was SpongeBob on the UK tour. She loves college so much that on a Wednesday is her day off and she goes into practice.
