What i like about Matt is the way in which he handles the fish to ensure as less stress as possible and the way in which he shares he’s knowledge and abilities. Ka Pai ehoa, always a pleasure watching your show!
Man, you guys catch some great fish! I've never been as lucky, but then again, I'm far less knowledgeable as well. My dad and I had a goal to go up and fish QLD Australia to catch Barramundi. Unfortunately, me fracturing my spine in 2010 and some mobility / pain management issues put the brakes on that. Just as I was stable and getting to be reasonably capable of such a trip, 2018, he passed away aged 58 from a heart attack. I will chase Barra and Snapper and give a nod to the sky in his honour.
Here in the US On the West Coast of California and Mexico we call them Yellowtail... They do not get as big as these though ! Sometimes but they are rare, It is however in the family of Jacks.
That fishr must feel excruciating pain when you catching, think about your cheek is passing through with a hook. What I mean if you not eating that fish then leave fish along, you are about just fish torturing.
