Epic trout fishing in New Zealand. 

This was the only water I could find that wasn't raging after all the rain. It was not a dry start for the season. I managed 7 fish for the day but it really was hard going in the end and I had to bail. Once the water levels have come back down, I will go miles up into this fishery in search of the big ones that lurk up there. For now it was a satisfying start to the season.
