Thanks! Here I was trying to remember who had the big jump at his bash spot. The sand should've been a clue. I used to comb RU-vid looking for Typhon 6s vids. The Exoplex has come a long way!
I love the versatility of these wheels/tires. I've run them on everything from a 2wd slash, to the maxx (not xmaxx obviously lol). I really like them on the p4de.
Thanks for the video!!! Love that Typhon!!! FYI: keep an eye on the glue with those Prolines. Great tires, I have had to glue them a few times. I am running a protek 30mm fan on mine. Slight body mod. Awesome driving 👏 👏 👏
Sure was an EpiC drive Joe, I think you could be one of the few many that’d be best to compare this and the new tlr version with a show like today Thank you a lot for sharing happy times with 🎯🎯💥
You know all of us with the bad boy were going nnnnooooooo during the slo mo of height and looking like it was going to yard dart. Lol. There's a good game to play, put rings in the yard and points get higher further out. 🤔🤣
@@jcallesano run and bash I Put on the Dboot Fortress tires that go on the Mojave. More ground clearance, adds to suspension and had to add a wheelie bar. If you took the wing off it would do a standing backflip. And they dont balloon so that you're out of control. Great grip on all surfaces, on pavement just be gentle with the throttle at first. Never rolled it with them and the tread lasts, still almost new tread and everything else I've run has started wearing in about 2 weeks. For the speed runs I use GPR. After warming up, I've had straight launches everytime. But drift if you want.. I have yet to lawn dart with the Fortress tires unless the backend was kicked up to high for some reason and I should have tapped the break and continue the front rotation. Even on 4s they lift the front. If you pick up a set, you wont regret it. The Street GPRs are inexpensive but good in my opinion. And I have the street not the slicks. Haven't run Hoons but have seen them wear about like the GPRs which are $40 a set.
@@tonysmith7989 I wanna go faster so I want to drop the spur and raise the pinion even more. But then again, I don't want to be changing gears often when it's dirt and ramp time!
@@jcallesano that's why I went with a 17 tooth tekno. Pretty much fun in all conditions, it's just a matter of running 4s (which is like 6s) or on 6s and have plenty of speed. Usually only have to stop and let cool 1x a pack. Unless evening runs. That's just me though.
Hey Joe and this fantastic community, I just burned out my trx4 brushed 21T titan motor, do you guys have any suggestions for good upgrades? (Reverse rotation motor or programable)
@@brandonwilliams2431 Arround 170 - 190$, I was originally looking towards a hobbywing fusion 1200kv, but i'm open to any suggestions buddy, thanks for replying!!😃
