Thanks for this video. We just got a VF8 today and have a road trip to Kingston, Ontario from North Carolina planned for October and I am glad it works with the Magic Dock and there seems to be plenty of level 3 chargers on the way.
We just did a 1500 miles road trip from Virginia to Texas in our newly acquired 2023 vf8 plus. There were Zero issues with the vehicle on the whole trip.
I've noticed a lot of people going on road trips to test out these VFs, and it seems like they've been having positive experiences with the improvements. I'm glad to see that, and I'm looking forward to giving it a try myself.
Thank you for reviewing the VF8 car experience, let me know the car works normally, this car used to be bullied the most, but now there have been many positive changes, hope you will continue to review the VF9
Please rest assured, VF already has a company specializing in electric vehicle charging stations, perhaps that company is also planning to build charging stations in the US and Canada when your government's policy allows, I believe. VF will always provide services to their service users anywhere in the world with the best quality. Thank you for your support of VF.
That angry guy with MY is just an unhappy guy. The station was practically empty, if he was smart enough he could have figured out being the unpleasant is unhealthy for his health :)
@@simplygregsterev maybe he’s unhappy to see Tesla superchargers opened up to non-Teslas. Oh well, Elon got federal subsidies when he put up those chargers - can’t hog them for Teslas only
Beautiful review of the Car !! It’s a beautiful car ❤…. Did you Buy it in Cash / Finance/ Lease ??? and factors did you look as while making that financial decision??? I am thinking of buying this SUV but I am little unsure if I should Finance or Lease it because of unstable and constantly evolving EV market !! What’s your idea on it
Quick question about route planning and charging. Are you using the vinfast navigation app to plan your route and charging or are you finding your level 3 chargers on another app and then mapping them as stops? Not a huge fan so far of the vinfast mapping so curious what you used on your trip.
Agreed, since you have to bring it in for updates, I would not purchase one unless I had a service center nearby. That is something they need to work on to grow.
@@michaelwilliams1120 it will do OTA but the process is insane. Like turn on, clip in seat belt. Close door, lock car, open car unclick belt l, stand on your head type stuff
@@simplygregsterevHa ha ha, I’m at Atlantic city now, and coming back to Montreal tomorrow. I’d like to learn the experience from your video before back to home….because I have Vf8 too .
I am interested in buying a V8 and I was told by the sales guy that Tesla hasn't given rights to VF to charge at their stations because they're not American made. So are you saying he was misinformed and VF can be charged at Tesla stations?
That angry Tesla Y driver. You were not driving a Church of Tesla automobile. How dare you drive your car on Tesla Charger Holy Grounds. You heretic. ;-)
Nobody in Europe buys this car. In Hamburg/Germany we have a Vinfast sales shop in the city centre and there are always no customers. The new Audi, BMW, Kia, Huyndai and Porsche charge the battery at twice to three times the speed.
You lack the electric knowledgement. Charging 2-3 times of speed is more dangerous because of battery heat and heated electric connections. You see vinbus, a bus with 213kwh battery capacity can carry 50-60 passengers without any catching fire. Porsche releases a recall about fired risky battery. Mercedes have fired 2 cases in garage. I believe vinfast because i see the good tech character design. So, i dont mind if the car can charge so fast at 120kwh-140kwh, and can charge so normal at 70-80kwh on 70% battery.
@@NguyenSon-iv5ju I have been driving an Audi e-tron gt for 2 years, google the car. I have an 800 volt system with 270 KW charging power at peak. From 10 % to 60 % I charge at the 300 KW charger with 270 kW, then the charging curve drops to 150 KW to 85 % then to 90 KW. In 17 minutes I'm driving on with a range of 380 km. And the Audi was launched in May 2021. You've all been bought by Vinfast or employees from Vinfast Marketing. Vinfast sold 32 cars in Germany from January to June, not 32 thousand, 32!!! Audi sold 15,000 electric cars in Germany alone during this period. Vinfast does not and will not play a role in Europe and is a non-existent brand. And the Canadian tester is also bought by Vinfast, because why does he connect the car to an old V2 Supercharger and not to a V3 or V4, the charging would look even worse than it already is.
