BWO's dry but October is the time to target big browns. Big streamers, Zonkers, double bunnies, even wooly buggers will work. Use white or yellow and white.
This channel maybe “smaller” but the production value is absolutely fantastic and mesmerizing. I’ll work for u for free for 3 months if you’ll have me. (A real offer)
WOW DUDE!! First of all amazing trip! Your filming and editing are an inspiration dude! You have quickly become my favorite channel by far! Keep crushin it!
Great video of the SF! I grew up in Idaho Falls and fished it in the 70's. What ramp did you guys take out at? As you can imagine, things have changed as most all ramps except Palisades were dirt back then :-)
The three people who disliked the video missed the like button because they were too focused on your DOPE EDITS! Another fire vid Scottie!! Nice job! I always click the like button before watching your vids! Go check out my channel called The Reel Fisherman!
Absolutely stoked for the Idaho series. I’m from Pocatello and just fished island park this weekend and saw this came out. Your videos are amazing as always. I look forward to your content. Usually the highlight of my week and a great excuse to put off homework.
40 years ago my father went and fished in the exact same place and went to that same fly shop, i showed this video to him and he lit up when he saw island park pop up on the screen, and seeing that fly shop again
Why are you releasing Rainbows? It's bad for the native Cutts. There are literally hundreds of rivers to catch a rainbow in but the South Fork is the last stronghold of the Snake River Fine-spotted Cutthroat trout. Please help us protect our native fish.
yesyesyesyesyyesyesyesyeysyeysyesyysydysyeyyseysyeysyeyseysyeysyes Whenever Im packing for a trip into the Whites I put one of your videos on and they just make me ready. Amazing video as always man. Im hitting my native wild streams this weekend
Another perfect film. Always a blessing to get a new upload from you. 31K subs is criminal, worth well more than that. But that is what makes the push to bring that success that much more worth it. Thank god for someone like Cory! Tight lines guys and look forward to the next one.
I bet that guide was happy as hell he got yall bc you know he to fly fish very very well so he could enjoy the float and not be retying somebody's line every 5 minutes.
Another great video. I have a recommendation for your travels. Get some Forj Thermoplastic Tape Ribbon and keep one in the bus, in your travel bag and cut some off to keep in your river gear. You can repair almost anything with it. Could have repaired that key, rods I've seen broken and even the oars of a boat. There is another fiber tape that's water activated that you can repair major components with. You can buy it at home depot and keep it in the bus in case a major suspension component breaks. It will get you to a repair shop. Love all these videos, keep 'em coming!
Awesome video, however always such a bummer to see rainbows being released back into the SF. Know and respect the water you’re fishing and help protect the native Cutthroats.
I'm from there and u need to do the float below were u got out its through the canyon and it is the best float on the hole south fork especially in salmon fly season for a couple days
Love the video! That's one of my favorite places to fish out west here! Great choice with Henry's Fork Anglers! Those guys are awesome! Congrats on your graduation too!
Hello Noah ! The fly that keep coming back to me is the streamer called a Slumpbuster...in black..olive and brown...also be on the lookout for blue wing olives.....BWO mayflies...good luck !
I and my 3 brothers know that Laramie station very well and we cut our teeth in this very area. Now we collectively have 200 yrs of fly-fishing in several states and countries. Brings back memories!
I noticed the fighting butt on your rods. What weights are y’all using for these trout? In Ga I’m usually using a 2wt and occasionally a 5wt but I have never fished Idaho before.
Awesome filmography of my favorite river. You put on the river right by my house and actually landed a fish in the backyard of my friends house! Great work as always.
