No, but Simone solo sounds good to me. I don't not like Mark. I just don't like him singing. It's not even because it's harsh. I don't really think he is harsh. I think it's him trying to sound like harsh vocals. Does that make sense? I mean, it seems very labor, and he's got like a high pitched high. arch pain. sound and. then he's got this low, but it doesn't really sound low. Kind of gagging sound instead of a growl. I know that sounds like I'm making fun of him, but I'm honestly trying to explain what he sounds like. And I've asked other people and I've played harsh vocals to them like Will Ramos. Ginger. Just all kinds of harsh vocals that I can think of. And then I play him and they Like, no, he's horrible. So I'm going to download red right now.

@@DannyLeeOGT "Red" is the only song out of the three singles that features Mark hahaha but it's a really cool song and doesn't sound like Epica at all. well, and I personally really like Mark's vocals 😁 except for the moments with Black Metal vocals

@@wildhoney126 It's okay. I mean, some people like the way the singer for Rush sounds. I mean, I like a band with a penis for a logo. It's really not, but it kind of is. I have a huge tattoo of it on my arm. So I'm not judging anybody. LOL.

I absolutely LOVE Simone's voice. I think her solo album comes out this week, so I will be on that like a pack of dogs on a three-legged cat! 🤘😆 The fact that Arjen Luccasson is involved makes it even cooler. Still, I have not been listening to the new tracks because I have been saving them for reactions. 😫😫 The curse of being a reactor! lol

Yes, I have been impressed from day one. I like the contrast. I don't mind the harsh vocals. I really don't like Mark's voice. It's nothing personal. He has like a higher harsh tone and a lower harsh tone. It sounds more like he's trying to make a harsh vocal rather than singing within harsh vocals. If that makes sense. it seems very labored. But the band is so tight. I don't think we have done an Epica song yet, I did not enjoy.

I don't think Epica have released an album that isn't incredible. I have seen them live 4 times and it's been a transcendent experience every time. It seriously warms my heart to see Danny appreciate them as well. ❤🤘I agree with you that Epica's mixture of melody and heaviness is second to none as is their ability to combine elements from seemingly incompatible genres like opera and black metal. 🤘🤘 Thanks for watching. @@DannyLeeOGT His last name is actually French and should be pronounced as such. Isaac is actually from Belgium. Belgium is in fact tri-lingual and the people speak mostly French and Flemish and there's also a small area that speaks German. Flemish is pretty much the same as Dutch. Isaac speaks mostly Flemish/Dutch (as far as I know), but his family name is of French origin.

Well, that would be Greg's department, because I was the one that taught him or turned him on to, like, the outlaw country. and the progressive rock are the Pink Floyd and tool rock. LOL. I'm not sure they have a genre. Everything else that's called progressive sounds nothing like tool or Floyd. So this is Symphonic Meadow would be the genre. The band you're talking about.
